I don't know about others but for me it seemes that there's not much challenge in PvE anymore. I have to admit that recently i have no idea what to do when i log on, since nothing is really rewarding or fun anymore like in the good old times.
It may be the lack of fresh content or just lack of the "WOW!" feeling about something in PvE to make you want to work hard for it. Everything de-valued, and the KoaBD title track is all that is significant in the game right now - which also de-values PvP and kills the fun out of the game.
It may just be me... but doing things "for fun" feels very very pointless, when title achievements have gotten so overrated and significant for the next game and became the only reason to keep people playing.
The whole vast world of gw has shrunk to the few areas people grind out 60% of the titles. The only reason to do anything in the game is for the titles, it's like "Why should i waste an hour of my time on this when it won't be marked anywhere and i'll get a lousy green i'll npc at the end."
Title-this, title-that, isn't this getting out of hand?
Your opinions?
PvE dried out?

i agree titles are all theres left to do. in other games you can level make and do actual stuff here the level cap is so low u hit it 20 right away, and yes the game is all about titles unfortinaly and there isnt anything left to do, it gets boring and repetitve i dont see how theres any gloary in gwamm i mean anyone can sit at there computer for mindless hours but theres no fun in that , then when u hit the granddaddy of em all what do u get, nothing just another title.......boring

yea i agree with previous postes pve is dead, ursan perma sin, title weekends come up so often too that there just doing it to have players stick around till gw2, peronally i think by having double this double that title weekends they cut the so called honor in half for gwamm(that is if it had any at all)

if you are not having fun anymore no one is forcing you to play...
there is still lots to do (when was the last time you did sorrows furnace?? did you do last day dawns with only 4 people????).....have you played all 10 classes thru all of the chapters etc....lots to do to keep interest, though it would be nice if anet added say...another realm of the gods?????????????

I think most everyone will slowly lose interest in the game. I can hardly stand to play it anymore if I don't have a friend on to play with.

The most unfortunate thing is that Titles don't mean you are a GOOD PvE player. They should have an account-based "Pug-worthy" title, where you earn points for successful completion of missions or areas and lose points for fails.
Pugs used to be fun - when good players were forced to play with others. Now we have heros and hench with decent skillsets. Makes me sad.

pve=play in ursan elite area group farms, play good fun builds with h/h, or play a good fun build while the rest of your pug group plays wammos and "dps" casters and rangers.
pvp=play disorganized, casual pvp whenever you want or wait for your guild to come on so you can gvg.
why cant there be 7 other humans who will be on gw whenever i am and play with me in whatever format i want
kinda like being able to have 7 heros, except when you add those heros, real ppl with brains come on and play them!!!!
gw should totally do that, with no monthly fee too.

i enjoyed guild wars, loved the pve, would always take a step back and admire the scenery in a new area... but once you have beaten each campaign 2 or 3 times (yes i know a lot of people have done it more times) things get a bit boring... all i really have left to do is title grind and fill my hom on my main char. and thats no fun. i have no desire to log on because i know when i do its going to be repetitive mindless gameplay... ill do it sometime, just not now... meh

We already already following a storyline, you cant just add BAD GUYS to peaceful realms.
Theres Menzies annoying Balthazar and remants of Dhuum&Pals at Grenth's realm.
Who would be causing trouble for Melandru and the others?
Guild Wars, like any good game, does not deteoriate with age. Doing anything for a long time (and I shudder to think what people in MMOs think of as "long"), it will probably get stale and boring. So take a break. Play another game. GW isn't going anywhere.
I love Guild Wars, but haven't logged on much lately due to a slew of great other games. Is this bad and a sign of darkness? Hell no, I am a gamer, and I like playing games. Guild Wars is one of them. I get itching to play it just as I get itching to beat Duke Nukem 3D every blue moon.

Heroes killed PvE.
At the end of the day, we're playing a MMO. MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE (If I'm not mistaken
)
What happens when U take out the multiplayer? Yeah, you got basic RPG. And if you want that, you're better off with Fable or Oblivion.
I remember most PUGS I had. They were fun. Yeah, we ALL got pissed off that we had that one Wammo who decided to monk, because it is clearly ALOT better than a real monk, because he can't die...
But it's that exact thing that puts feelings into the game. You are actually pissed-off. Humans are social beings by nature. Ok, we're playing a game, and most of us leave the basement once a month, but still... You ARE in fact playing with other ACTUAL people. It's that what makes MMO's so fun, the fact that U CAN show off your e-peen, the fact that U CAN be pissed-off at other people, ...
Olias doesn't care if you fcuk up. Master of Whispers doesn't cry when your party whiped after a 3 hour vanquish. They ARN'T REAL. Pugs are...
Yes, I "herowayed" alot in PvE, but whenever I had the chance to take a real life person for a Vanquish, I'dd gladly kick a hero, for the pug (with whatever random bar he has). In another thread, I explain how good leadership can be the succes of a pug. Well, I myself (when I pug), I get 1 thing clear with the other people, and that is that they won't rage and/or do acts out of rage. (Screw up the vanquish because some guy over-aggrood)
