I understand that u want to use a 20/20 wand+ 20/20 focus =40/40 set. But its too ugly uh huh?
If u want to use a sword + 20/20 focus thats fine, but remember its only half as good as the 40/40 set and u wont be as effective as u would with the 40/40 set.
What u can do, that most people in pvp practise.
Is to use a Defensive set, like a shield with +30hp, and +10 armor vs slashing, blunt and so on. Always run around with this (while not casting)
and when ur about to cast u spells, just quick swap over to the 40/40 set- and then back to def set. It can take a while to learn and remember to swap around all the time, but til the end its worth it.
~btw, u want to use the 40/40set to cast / recharge ur spells faster -> which means u will be more effective.
~And use your defensive set to take less damage from spikes and pressure.
When i play monk, i use for example.
Set 1 (Negative set) Spear-(+15%dmg -5 energy, +5 arm) and Shield-(+30hp +10 arm vs Slashing.)
Set 2 (blunt, 20% ench) Spear-(+5nrj, +20%ench) and Shield-(+30hp +10 arm vs Blunt)
Set 3 (20/40 staff) prot staff 20/40 +20% ench.
Set 4 (high set) Wand +15 nrj -1 regen, and Focus +15nrj -1reg.
There are people that are really into weapon sets and use alot more sets than this, but i dont bother.
