Why does this always happen,
Why do people insist on complaining for complainings sake, this is a bonus nothing more, it is free. What is more it isnt even out yet, secondly the people with destroyer weapons whats the problem? you have a "full" monument, nothing lost on your part, the cash you spent was your desision alone.
I am not rich, if they did add torment weapons ect i would not be able to get them, but destroyer weapons, regardless of looks would still fill my hom if i desired to fill it to a degree.
Please, talk and discuss about it by all means, but dont let this devolve into a thread of flaming. keep on topic "what are your guesses"

And those weapons are only for super rich players, because it requires lots of money to get one of those butt ugly shit weapons, far more, than for destroyer weapons... |
The point of of HoM is keeping your accomplishments and carry those over to GW2, of course what is and what is not an accomplishment varies per player, but you just need to set certain standards in order to make it a smooth process to gain benefit from those items GW2. You can't expect ANet employees to rate every single random item a player displays and determine how much benefit they gain from it in GW2.
So is a tormented item an accomplishment? Maybe, maybe not, but it's for damn sure a gold req 12 water wand is not an accomplishment. And if you would open the monument to whatever a player wants to display, those items would probably end up there.

WOW!1 This is the most exciting thing I've heard since the Deldrimor weapon crafter.

Deldrimor (Prophecies)
Tormented (Night Fall)
Zodiac (Factions)
A crafter would then be needed at the end of Urgoz Warren / The Deep to craft such zodiac weapons. Also, while they're there, add Zodiac Spear and Scythe. Maybe such items could require both amber and jadeite, who knows.
This is my guess.

If you look at how Guild Wars changes, the typical move is to add value to items that normally have none. For instance, consumables has boosted the value of some materials which previously had zero trade value. Maybe not a lot due to heavy farming, but enough to make some difference. In another example, Zaishen Keys started off as an interesting concept, but after several months nobody cared about them and the prices started to bomb. Last I saw they were approaching 2K each... I.e., almost worthless given that lockpicks sell for 1.25K. GW added a new title and emote, and now you can easily find buyers willing to trade ecto for them.
Right now, end-game greens have very low trade value and somebody (preferably yourself) would actually have to beat the game to actually get them. I would not be surprised if Deldrimor weapons were added not just to give fans something that they requested for a long time, but also so that all three regular campaigns now have an end-game green, and therefore any Guild Wars owner can submit their end-game weapons to the HoM.
The Tormented Weapons might make it into the HoM, but from what I can tell, Armbraces of Truth are still worth a lot of money, so I don't see what would be the point of trying to boost their value.

Or piss em off enough to pass on GW2.
I said earlier this is prob a good thing, although really late. Elite area wepons imo, zodiacs, eternal, etc.
The whole HoM is designed around 1 character, titles, wepons, etc. So pick a char you really love, and go until it is all filled up. And if XX # of titles isn't enough, we may add more - just to keep you interested.
