Dishonorable - Worst Idea Ever

I see plenty of people ragequitting RA teams as it is right now. I can only imagine what it was like before the system was implemented. The system works, so go cry until your ten minutes are up.

Is this the thread where I complain about the mechanism to prevent whiny ragequitting because I'm a whiny ragequitter who got hexed by that very mechanism?

Don't ragequit and there won't be a problem. If you're so 1337 that you can't tolerate playing with all the nubs and build testers who are trying something new, STFU and get back to maintaining your GvG and HA status.

Your inability to play the game as it was designed is your problem, not your team's. If you don't have time to do an RA match, don't go into RA and you won't get hexed. Problem solved.

Except that unless your fellows agree with your assessment and also /report, you also get dinged for an unsupported /report. Kind of makes just reporting innocents pointless since you'll quickly get yourself hexed as well.

Funny, I didn't even know this existed in Guild Wars. Maybe it's because I never leech or abandon my teams.

You should try doing as I do. It makes for quite an enjoyable gaming experience. ^_^

Funny I didn't see anything in the EULA or RULES of the game that said others had to play everything just like you do or expect or even make builds like you do or expect. Seems to me if YOU don't like it YOU should be the one leaving as you're doing more harm than good. Really get tired of these holier than thou's coming to forums thinking their opinion should be top priority for Anet lmao or Anet should obey them as if they were the Generals of War. haha

It works you're just given a certain amount of points to spend before it trips. You have to leave multiple sessions within a period of time before you're hexed with it.

Ppl would leave a RA team if they didnt have a monk war and ele on there team.It F***in' sucked.
and AB ppl would just stand around with there thumbs up there @$$'s at spawn just waiting for match to end or like you said wanting to leave cuz they was losing.

They should up the dishonored points given by leaving to 10.
You leave, you can't play for 10 minutes.
The matches last like 3 to 5 effing minutes, I'm sure you can wait this long.

the thing they need to do about ra is just add rez shrines to all of the maps that way it would eliminate people who are too stupid to bring a rez sig and runners.

So you lose and you return back to the RA isle or you win and you leave before the next match begins.

I almost never see quiters when AB'ing.


If you want high quality pvp, do GvG or HA or TA. Don't come to RA and AB and expect pros.

I disagree. Best Idead ever. It used to be HORRIBLE. Everyone ran spike builds with no healing (shadow prison sin was BEAST) they would enter until they got a monk. It was so dumb to have people just leave with no penalty. It just needs to be changed so you dont get dishonorable for leaving roller beetle races or /resign'ing out.

The title makes me lol. The system is fine. The only issues I've experienced is with resigning in RBR. Everything else functions as it should.

I agree with dishonorable. It's the only way to keep people from leaving random arena/snowball/dragon arena when they either don't get the team setup they want, or were trying to sync enter with their friends and didn't get it. Occasionally people who don't deserve it get it, but overall it keeps people from ruining the game completely for other people. And as for leaving so you can save time when everyone else on your team is dead... ugh. Seems like if they all died and you're just running around deciding to leave, maybe you should have been helping more?

I've monked my way nearly to g4 (next week or so) and could not agree more. I cannot stand having retards on my team that do no damage at all, cant target correctly to save their lives, have 375 max health, no res sig....or skills from 4 lines. Dont even get me started on the no-loaders and afk'ers. If the timer hits zero plus a little and someone hasnt loaded...i immediately resign and leroy. I could probably start a whole thread on how the last man runner deciding to waste 4 minutes of everyone's time could be fixed.

I refuse to hold idiots like that up for 4 minutes...either win or lose because I'm not going to get a glad point with anyone like that. Typically I have to either leroy the other team, or leave right after a victory because of the dishonorable system. It just makes me spend extra time with teams that have no business being a team.

Dishonorable had good intentions...to stop people like me from leaving nub groups right when we load...but if you're going to do that, you've got to de-randomize it a little to make the matches more even...or enjoyable. Maybe, throw in some logic to not have 3 healers on a team...or not have 3 players with no pvp points in any track on the same team. Make a res skill a requirement to hit "enter battle" in RA.

Maybe i'm just a bitter old monk, but RA definitely needs work done. I wont even start griping about not having an emote while letting nubs BUY one.

^^ What part of "random" is so hard to understand? Maybe if you stuck around more "back in tha day", Grandpa, you could have helped some of the "nubs" get better. If you are so bad ass, why are you scrubbing around in RA, if you hate it that much?

RA is fine. Go look up random in the dictionary. I'm sorry some people lose 3-10 minutes of their lives in a bad match. It's a lot better than elitist marble gobblers leaving when the team didn't fit their mold. They have GvG, TA and HA for you, if you can hack it.
