That said, I am trying to come up with a good build that the Hero AI doesn't get all stupid with. Generally, I find him to be pretty accurate and smart. Currently, he is built out as thus:
[glyph of [email protected]][fire [email protected]][arcane echo][[email protected]][rodgort's [email protected]][[email protected]][meteor [email protected]][web of disruption]
He is sitting at 105 energy, 3 regen, and has a 20/20 staff. We are currently progressing through the Nightfall campaign.
Now, it is not that I am unhappy with this build. The one thing the AI does excel at it catching interupts and he doesn't seem to run out of energy unless we really start moving, which is nice. Having little or no experience with playing a Ele, so it makes designing a good hero build that much harder.
Should I be concerned with him being only fire? I thought about dual specing him with Water Magic and swapping out [glyph of [email protected]][fire [email protected]][[email protected]] for [elemental [email protected]][[email protected]][deep [email protected]] to give some synergy with Rodgort's and stop mobs from running about too much and have some damage diversity. Again, is this that important on a hero? Will he be smart enough to fire Steam after Rodgort's?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
