Factions has been out for around 2 years now, and this struggle has been going on ever since the beginning. I've played alot of ab, on both sides, and theres always the battle cries:
"Lol suxons"
"Lol kurzdic*s"
"You guys always mob"
"You guys always win"
"You guys always lose"
Blah blah blah...
It's funny, because its one game. A simple thing called ab caused a split in a player base which lead to name calling and flaming of another side. It's rare to hear this out of AB/FA, though. I think this is utterly stupid, and try to correct people in AB who do it. What do you guys think/Do about it?
Kurzick Vs. Luxon

Its all because people like to have a go at their opponents regardless as to whether they are crap or not.
All in all, both sides mob about equally, both sides win about equally, both sides lose about equally, and both sides have bad players & good players equally. The insults stem from this because both sides want an advantage, or to feel better about themselves, despite the fact that they are essentially the same.

im very sarcastically nice when i play ab i say "hello kurzicks" "how are you doing today" usually someone chimes in "oh im doing nice thank you" and we start a lively (yet stupid and pointless) conversation. anyone who calls people suxons and kurzdicks (very unoriginal names btw) are very immiture imo. i laugh at noobs.
This really isn't an issue and certainly nothing worthy of making a thread to address. All fun and games. I believe it hard to see people actually think this is a problem. Should remember what RhanoctJocosa said before making another thread like this...
"Damn you, Kurd!cks!"
"Suck on this, Suxons!"

It might seem like such a serious life if you strut around with a pole inserted in an uncomfortable place, and I feel for you I truly do (it must be miserable, poor thing)... but - in my experience at least - two thirds of the time it's all in good jest.
Really, if this kind of thing worries you so much you need to make a public display about it I truly do feel sorry for you.
I used to AB a lot back in Factions days and loved it. Most times I'd just ignore any silliness and say good luck at the start and congratulate the victors at the end.
There didnt seem to be too terribly much in terms more offensive banter if I recall back then. The silly name calling of faction derivations were just laughable fun, but the racist and more intent-on-offending language is annoying. That sort of stuff is why I dont PvP very much. You pretty much cant avoid it in any PvP game. Its even generally harmless. I just find it annoying as hell. I just dont need that from a game.

WHY GAME END EARLY? BOB SAD.
BOB HAS TO CLEAN BOOTS AGAIN.

Try having fun with it. It's childish, immature and stupid. So are the Three Stooges, ya know? The behavior isn't going to go away just because you say it should; best response is to make it fun.
In fact, you probably observe a lot more of this sort of thing than most people, because when people get upset about it...it just makes annoying them more fun.
