The OFFICAL THREAD:Ascalon Royal Family Masquerade Ball 08 Returns!,Community event

Hello guys. My name is Drewsipher. I am also known as Wild Prince Cilero. Some of you may know of Blade Radio. For those who don't it is a internet streaming radio station. We make our home in Guild Wars, and love giving back to the GW community. If you'd like to check it out we are located at bladeradio.com. It has come to our attention that both the Masquerade ball and the Anti-Unification Rally are the same day. We are hoping to cover both events. I know personally if I do a show this day I will cover the Ball because I caught the tail end last year and it seems like fun. If anyone would like to check it out, we have a TS and we stream every night. Also, as an fyi we are looking for DJs. It is really fun, and we try to give back to the community as well. We do 50k give aways every Friday night as well as trivia questions for random golds given as donations by listeners and staff members

Well, I'm sorry to say that I'll be gone the weekend of the 10th so I won't be able to staff the event anymore

Ill try to see if I can convince someone to atleast pop into the event for me, but I doubt I can get them to staff it heh.

I'm planning on attending again (last year's event was great!) I imagine I can find some fun toys to donate on the various characters holding onto my extra junk.

Also, I'm a professional runner - even though all the official spots are full, if anyone needs to catch a lift to the Temple, give me a shout. As with all my runs, the service is offered free of charge.

oh, Daisuko ^^^^ I'm 99% certain that the couples dance contest and the costume judging are separate events. So there will be awards for best dressed indivduals, as well as awards for the best overall dance performance (of which dress coordination etc is a part) XD

As Elder said, they will be a "duets contest" and a single costume contest,in the words of the Asura ... I am a genius

I totally trust you with this. You have been a major part in many other famous events, such as your own Wintersday event (which looked like it was cool, if only i was there!) and the Mursaat rally.
By the way, do I have to donate at least 20k if i am going to donate anything? Its just i have some ales and other stuff i would like to donate. I will contact you about that later.

Good, I was pondering if that was going to be the case, GWO online may have some issues, but they still have a lot of good people in the GW community that enjoy a great party.
