I would say Istani, when it comes to bad things happening to the area... it seems to be the most stable

Ascalon - Searing
Lions Arch - Undead Armory
Crystal Desert ..... unless you want to become a ghost
Shiver Peaks - Dwarf Civil War
Factions - Plaque
Istani - Heavy Draft with being used as disposable tissue and that nightfall thing.

Amoon Oasis.

Love its music. Also, people from deserts are cool ( Ganondorf, Gaara, etc)

My main house would be near the Krytan-Ascalon settlement, overlooking the beach north of LA (after clearing out those pesky mergoyals and ettins). Either that or Divinity Coast, but sadly we didn't get to spend a lot of time there. Or that fishing village in the north of Mehtani Keys... GAH! I can't decide!

Though I would also have a summer home in good ole' 'Bacons' Perch.

On the coast on Shing Jea. Nice views and as I'm very holy I can nip up to the monastry when I'm in the mood for a bit of worship or listening to the pre-teens trash talk each others' mothers......

I would go live behind rotscale. You see that door he's standing in front of? That's mine. Go away. Solicitors will be eaten.

I'd probably be living in pre-searing near fort ranik and melandru's garden.

However if time travel is out of the question I'd just set up shop on the Isle of Meditation as was the original plan

Ingame - Highest level of Riven Earth, nothing like floating stones and herds of simians to stare at.

Storywise - West of the maguuma jungle about half the map's length, and south on the coast. House looks like this:
