Major loot nerf on Luxon Sins farm

I just did this farm 5 times. I got nothing but whites, blues and some purples, and a few coin drops (like 3 in 5 runs). I got zero gold items, only one assassin tome.

The boss dropped only whites and blues all 5 times.

I didn't farm anything 2-3 hours prior to doing this.

The last time I farmed this was about 1 month ago. I got at least 1 gold per run, and the boss always dropped something half decent, like a gold scroll or weapon, or elite sin tome.

If anyone can confirm it would be great. This used to be my favourite place to farm for sin tomes and vigor runes.

I'm still getting 1gold/run..but i did get more drops/golds a while ago.

I get 1.5 gold/run with my 330hp rit (Credit to Rezzdog) and like 0.75 with my 55hpSS

I did get more drops a while ago, but I do not think there has been a major nerf or something.
I think that what's causing your bad drops is simple bad luck.

I don't remember drops this bad.. 5 runs in a row.. kind of unheard of.

I'm gonna do a few runs right now and see what happens.

Just did 2 more runs.

Got one crappy gold, the rest whites/blues. Very few gold drops.

So in total I made about 5k in 7-8 runs.

I guess I won't be doing this farm anymore :/

I'll try again tomorrow I guess just to see.

I'm sorry for your disappointment, but have you thought that 5 runs are not exactly a reliable statistical sample?

Unless we would actually have info on how the game "rolls the dice" for drops, your 5 runs are most likely a result of bad luck.

I've done this farm several hundred times.

I did 8 runs today and the drops weren't even close to normal.

that's enough for me to see something changed.

I've been getting bad drops from the sins for ages. The boss usually drops nothing let alone anything "half decent". I think the most I've done is 7 or 8 runs with no gold drops but then other times I've had 4 golds on one run. I've just always put it down to everyone overfarming the place.

I could of said that the raptors were nerfed a few months ago as I did I think it was 6 runs and got 7 drops. Thats not 7 gold drops thats 7 drops period. So that was 144 kills for 7 drops nice statistic isn't it This was during the "Honeycombe and Hunters Ale" dropping weekend too. And those items are supposed to be exempt from loot scaling!

EDIT: Just checked the screenie I had and adjusted the number of drops for the raptor runs.

It's luck. Get over it.

Just last night I did 5 runs, ending up with a minor vigor, 8 gold garbs, and an elite sin tome.

I've done this run countless times over the last few weeks and the only thing I've noticed is that pendants tend to drop more often now, which is a good thing.

@drey2k: If you had actually done this run anywhere near that many times, as I have, then you would know that 8 runs is nowhere near enough to judge it on.

what build are u using when i did that on my 55 necro i got next to nothing from them but ive seen a 330 rit do it and get loads. this is prolly due to that loot scaling thing again...

I use the 330 Rit build.

It most likely is due to lootscaling, as I'll usually get lootscaled after about 25-30 runs and start getting 2-3 whites, a purple and no golds every run.

I head to farm Dragon Moss or Naphui Quarter mobs after, and head back to Sins after a day or two.

EDIT: Just did another run. Guess what? 4 golds and a +30 on a pair of gold daggers.

Again, it's all luck.

I've noticed a slight drop, usually doing it on my 105 rit
but hey, everything else is dropping fine it seems, if not majorly better

Yeh I can definitely confirm a drop..

I did a few more runs today, same results. Raptor nestlings and vaettirs are a much better farm than this now. Except for the possiblity of vigor drops.. but those are rare anyways.

Do you people not get it? Just because you're not getting the uber-shizzle loot does NOT mean the farm has been nerfed. Jesus christ.

Meh, I've never gotten much better farming these people with an SS Necromancer.
