This doesn't make sense... Is the answer a phrase or just random numbers and letters? You need to provide more information. Not more clues necessarily (although that would be nice), but more of what we are looking for.

i have my uncles and my numbers and my pronouns and acronyms and cereal bars all mixed up here. i have no idea what this is, its official. (i've searched all about riddles for the last hour on the internets)

is there a prize for effort, like those little kids that draw really bad cute pictures and get runner up?
i think this is the answer.

Seriously, more information is necessary if you want anyone to solve this, giving people a set of jumbled letters and "the answer is in the format of number letter number" doesn't do anything.

OK, since you're all asking for clarification.
Firstly, Kyomi it is a consonant.

Now, I have given you guys the phrase "avem vu khehyas ard ce dyrf?"
This is a question that has been scrambled/encrypted/changed etc. (those are just examples)
You must unscramble/decrypt the phrase and answer the question.
When you read the question and work out the answer (not hard) you will realise it can be expressed in the form [number][consonant][number]

Gold, PM me with an answer.

Everybody else; think it through.
What have I told you?

1. That "avem vu khehyas ard ce dyrf?" is an encoded question
2. That a clue to the meaning of the phrase is "My cousin is called Al. Where does he sleep?"

So, think of some answers to the clue. Where could Al sleep? How does that answer relate to decrypting the question?

It's a tricky one.

His answer:
Quote:
"My cousin is called Al. Where does he sleep?"

Well, if he's like most people, then, in bed.

Al... bed... al... bed...

Al Bhed.

"avem vu khehyas ard ce dyrf?"

=

"efil fo gninaem eht si tahw?"

=

"What is the meaning of life?"

In a number/consonant/number representation, this is easily answered by Douglas Adams' great Hitchhiker's Guide - 42... written as 4t2

In short, my answer is:

4t2
