It all depend on what you wanna do (interupt, spam conditions, deal dmg, beastmaster, trapper...).
I suggest you look up The Campfire or PvXwiki.
They might not have exactly what you're looking for but both are a great source of inspiration to make your own builds.

Sounds like you have been at it for a while, might be better going off and trying to buy the bow. I used to farm it when Eyes of the North came out, and was only selling for around 5k.
As for builds, always good to have barrage with a pet, and if you have factions can't go wrong with the splinter barrage. But then again, it all matters what you want to do...
