Does Guild Wars Hate You?

If you want some fairly good dyes, go to Factions and do NM/HM Vermin Farming. From about 5 hours total (on the course of several days) I got 2 white dyes, 1 Black Dye, about 7k in cash, and 3 Gold Items, in Normal Mode.

FoW is also a good source of money, I got a total of about 15k in normal FoW in about 2.5 Hours (with a party of 5). Treasure Hunting also got me about 45k in about 1 Hour. My big find with Treasure Hunting was a Req 10 Gemstone Axe. I spent 4k and upgraded it to 20/19, +30, 15^50, and sold it for 20k; when it normally would have sold for about 2k-5k.

So no, Guild Wars hate me, it doesnt hate anyone. I think it is just how you manage your money, where you farm, and whether or not you take advantage of the chances you get.

Never ever got a green.... dont think i've ever gotten a 'rare skin weapon' r10 runic blade has probs been my best drop.

Never had a sup vigor drop...oh and im r4 treasure hunter...go figure, i am hated

That doesn't really mean anything. Your treasure hunter title could be from picking up weapons, primarily. I prefer to farm in areas that are heavy on armor drops because even blue runes can be worth quite a bit.

Although, I have something like a 34% chance to break items when salvaging and I'd say that when I do salvage I keep maybe 1 in 5 or 6 items intact. I have terrible luck with that.

don't rely on game giving you good drops... if that would happen then everyone would be rich... there is no such thing as luck. If u are waiting on it, then you'll be poor forever... go to the places with good drops... know how to reset your drop rate.... don't rely on Chinese bot farm tactics to gain your gold ... there are other ways

Yea... I have a real job, I don't need to turn my own GW experience into one by over-analyzing ever little rule in the game mechanics. I'll just stick with luck, thanks.

I'd say no. Ive had fun playing/still having fun doing what I like to do in the game. There have been upz/downz days / good/bad drops through the years, but I'd say there was more positives.

I dunno if GW hates me, but I'm sure not getting a lot of love on either the drops (how many other people can do full fow clears and not get a single shard other than the end chest, twice in a row?) or the lockpick retention (come on, at 60% retention I should retain more than 1 in 5 on average?) I'm not gonna whine that I never got that uber rare eleventy million ecto drop cause I don't play/farm enough for that.

I don't blame GW or A-Net, lady luck is the one that seems to hate me.

GW hates me playing my PvE monk. Everytime I go with guildies to fight Shiro in factions, I spend the entire match banished and miss all the action.

And my 49% lockpick retention rate feels more like 0.01% recently.

i never ever ever get good drops for some reason. been playing 3 years and haven't even seen a req7 white yet or a req9 gold drop for me.. yes a re9(max damage) after three years that i can remeber!

Fianlly had a good run on the treasures in NF. I can only get to 4 of them at the moment. The very 1st Buried Treasure dropped 535g and a maxed Suntouched Shield of Fort. 2nd and 3rd were pretty good too, Maxed Dual Winged Axe of Warding and a Voltaic Air Staff.

We'll see how this goes next month.
