Bug with Wild Blow (warrior)

I've been noticing that while playing my warrior, the skill Wild Blow seems misleading or even bugged. I've only played this skill on RP servers, however I didn't think that this would make a difference.

What I've noticed is that monsters regularly evade my Wild Blow attack. What seems strange about this is that the description says "cannot be blocked or evaded."

If anyone knows anything about this, or has any ideas please let me know. And Thanks in advance for any info.

if the skill says it cannot be blocked or evaded, and it does miss, then you should report via /bug report. although some skills (eg gryffons sweep) are meant to be evadeable for more damage.

I"ve noticed this as well, particularly when fighting the stone elementals with their ward against melee. Perhaps the ward is not a melee skill and thus Wild Blow has no effect? I would like an official explanation of the wording though, for it would clear up any future doubts.

So it would seem that Wild Blow was meant to hit all the time and the evades that we are seeing are in fact a bug of some sort. That's unfortunate because the skill is extremely nice as a finishing move after you have used up all your adrenaline and still have 5 energy left.

Yeah...Irresistable Blow sometimes does not knock down people in a stance. It's rather annoying!

I got the evade message when I fought the Stone Elementals and the Shiverpeak warriors. Later on today I'll go fight them again and see if I can get a screen shot of it, perhaps then we can clear that one up. Valarian.

I think you guys are misreading the Support response. He's not asking where you saw Wild Blow evaded, He's asking where you got the idea that it couldn't be blocked or evaded. You need to look at the text of wild blow again.

Wild Blow - Melee Attack
Lose all adrenaline. If it hits, this attack will be a critical hit. If Wild Blow is blocked or evaded any stance being used by your target ends.

So if you hit it's a crit. If it's blocked or evaded it ends any stance being used. So it can be blocked or evaded, it just does something in that case.

I fought the Stone Elementals again and they cast Ward Against Melee which is an enchantment and not a stance, thus Wild Blow will have no chance to drop it. The wording on Wild Blow says it only affects stances so no dice here. I should have known that but sometimes I'm slow. Valarian.
