First Ever Voltaic Spear Salvaged!

Today, Souls Of Fire And [Ice] with the help of fellow of Happy Guild Moor [hgm] alliance went to a great event!

We went to [Ice] guild hall to solve the mystery of the material of the voltaic spear!

We took donation for 1 week to get enough money to buy a voltaic spear and salvage it!

We bought the spear at the price of 100k + 55 ectos.

And on February 19 2008, the mystery was solve!

The VOLTAIC SPEAR salvaged into ... 9 iron ingots!

A video of the salvage have been recorded and would be on youtube later this week! The 9 iron ingots are in sale on guildwarsguru.com/auction and the money will serve to buy an Eternal Blade which is our next target in the Salvage Festival!

Also, we made a special event, we ask people to bet on the material ! Specific Common Material was at 5:1 and Specific Rare Material was at 20:1. Grats to the few people that bet on Iron Ingots!

Official Guild Wars Wiki have been updated with now the common material known!
So, if you need iron ingots, salvage your voltaic spear!

What Kind of Salvage Kit was used?

I guess it's not possible to salvage minipets...I'd love to see how many bones you could get from a Polar Bear...

I hope the guy who salvaged it had a high level for wisdom and not lvl1...because the wisdom title makes a BIG difference during salvage...

LOL, this reminds me of the Smash My _____ videos where they waited in line when the Wii and PS3 (and other gadgets) came out then smashed them with a huge hammer in front of the entire line xD
