Inability to load zones (URGENT)

Hey, so one of our guildmate's guild wars no longer works (and 2-4 of us acquired a virus from one another earlier today; don't ask). This just started tonight, and since the monthly tournament is in 11 hours we don't have much time to fix it and I need everyone's help.

What happens is when he loads into a zone (great temple, guild hall, etc), it just says that there is 0 files remaining and 100% loaded, but it just stays on that screen and he can never actually get in game (although it shows him in game to the rest of us).

I know there was a thread about a problem similar to this some time ago, and I'm wondering how you solved it. And if anyone else has any ideas about what could be wrong or how to fix it, any insight or help is appreciated greatly.

Oh, one last thing I forgot to mention. He tried reinstalling the game and doing a '-image', and neither of those worked.

I spent 30 seconds trying to load in earlier, I could almost go to say that it's A-Net's servers that are being sluggish, I've been lagging for a whole week, not to mention lots of friends - Getting 5k ping lag spikes.

He can't load in at all. Well, he has like a 1 in a billion chance when he tries to load.

Scan the computer.. Anti virus.. if its really important and i know it is... Format the drive! GO GO GO ! Time is short!
