I was never a noob. I was born as a veteran Guild Wars player. Therefore, I have done no dumb things.

As a young lvl 2 w/mo, I wanted to make friends. So I gave away a black dye. I also carried mending, orison of healing, healing breeze and bane signet. The other skills were frenzy, heal sig, sprint and res signet

After I got over marksmanship I decided that N/E was the way to go. I had some fun with Fire Storm.

Oh, and wondering why I couldn't sell 20% vs dragons/undead/et cetera for a staff. I thought it was so awesome.

E/Mo with half monk skills. (I thought the super high energy would be sweet)

I did the same. I also deleted a set of 15k Druid at the same time.

Mesmer/Necro With Curses and Illusion, wasnt half bad on my behalf


I merched A black dye on a new ranger once? I thought that ranger was blessed because of that drop, after merching though I deleted her and didnt make another ranger for 4 months, I was pretty angry.


But back then that amount of moneyt was alot to me...

And still is. :P

I actually played through Maguuma/Kryta, which took me several weeks if not more. Sadly this was when everyone was still in Tyria as well, though I suppose that meant many more inexperienced players as well. Only later did I find out about Sanctum Cay.

Sold elite Luxon armor hoping to get lots of money back because I needed a Titan gemstone to get Razah and making less than 1k on the whole set. And then they took away the need for gemstones.

And the times when I cranked up all attributes instead of the ones I was actually using...and never used primary attribute.

I'll have to say, that I did that too. Luckily, the PUG I was with didn't complain. Guess we were all noobs.

Additionally, my friend merched off a black dye. He did it again yesterday for nostalgia's sake, heh.

Charging into Old Ascalon on my Level 8 Elementalist, without henchmen. I was wondering why on earth I couldn't solo those **** Grawl. I created a Necromancer and deleted the Ele, then found out about henchmen.

Noob Avarre was ragey. I don't remember anything else I did besides that.

I feel your pain. Deleted quite a few masks before they put the npc in as well.

In Pre-Searing, doing A Monk's Mission but not realizing that Orison of Healing could be used on myself. As a result, I died and failed the quest.

Even worse (and why my necro never had a chance at survivor), doing The Necromancer's Novice but not realizing that Animate Bone Horror works on corpses that are far away, and instead just running into the Flame Geysers and dying.

Putting 1 attribute into each category thinking that I could get 12 in each one. At level 20 I think had like, 5 attributes in each category with a R/Mo.

Progressing my skills as I got them. I would replace my old skills with new skills as I got them.

Selling black dye at the merchant, only to find out just how much it was at a dye trader.

1. A PvE story of dumb:
I thought that there were 4 different bags. So I didn't get my bag for the last slot until much much later on (after continuously running out of bag space) when I found out that the bag one uses in slot 3 - works on slot 4 too!
2. PvP story:
Going PURE energy denial into the Droks arena (in the good old days this meant E-Tap/E-Drain/Signet Of Weariness/E-Feast - I wonder what else?).
Going after the ele.
And I brought Rebirth.
I was told I suck - and I never PvPed again.

The day I got outta presearing I bought a White Req 11 Chaos Axe just cause it was higher dmg then my noobie sword. I think that right there is why I don't play axes much now.
