* Wintersday is here! Kamadan, Lion's Arch, Droknar’s Forge, and Ascalon City are decorated for the occasion. Over the coming days, holiday activities will begin as special guests arrive to join the festivities. Everything leads up to the big Wintersday celebration on January 1, which will take place every three hours in Lion’s Arch and Kamadan (on the hour in Lion’s Arch and 15 minutes past the hour in Kamadan). Be sure to collect candy cane shards for the big celebration!

[edit] Bug Fixes

* Fixed a bug in the Bonus Mission Pack missions to make player armor equal across classes and armor levels.
* Fixed a bug that caused Star Strike to be affected by Death Magic attribute.
* Fixed a bug that gave players premature access to an area they hadn't previously visited.

* Added an option to toggle name tag fading of distant targets.
* The Imperial Herald located in the Great Temple of Balthazar has been updated with additional information about the $100,000 Tournament series and the Skill and Item Unlock Pack promotion.
* The Xunlai Tournament House NPC is now offering prizes for December, and can be found in the Great Temple of Balthazar, Lion’s Arch, Kaineng Center, and Kamadan.

My laptop had to be updated twice for it to trigger. But my computer did it fine. D:

ok so finally get in and guess what? it wants me to download the same build again? o.O
edit: knew i was back in the old build because i saw my girlfriend's character and she hadn't got the new build yet. odd

I downloaded it, A-OK. Not even a problem. It was close to 300 files. Not sure what's new.

But i think he was pointing out a bug that the update is requiring the update

Works for me now.. HB tourny is gonna continue in less than a min :S

I closed GW, reopened, and now it works.

-.- i'll have to see if something downloads after my data archive repairs >.<

Edit: yep 230 files are downloading now. Wonder what the update is besides wintersday.

Lol at number of people viewing the thread

I've done it 3 times and it still says new build is available in green at the bottom. Grrrr Anyone know what the changes are? Xmas scenary or actual game-play changes.

I'm not exiting until I can read the update notes,.

The update is quite broken, I suppose just wait till it works right (10 or so mins)

Heck yes, wintersday has begun I'm in lions arch now.

but i don't see any npc's
/excitement gone
Guess we gotta wait for the npc's.

This isn't a complain but I get an error when I use Texmod for GW. When I start the game without Texmod it works ok again. I also think this update is broken.
