Need help - I am constantly running out of energy in battle which not only stops me using my energy attack skills but also prevents me building up adrenaline for my adrenal skills. Quite often I am just stood there in battle unable to attack.

I use For Great Justice (-5 energy), 3 attack skills (-5 energy each) and 3 adrenal skills + healing sig.

I have tried using only 2 attack skills which use energy but then I find I dont build enough adrenaline.

I presently have 616 health and 25 energy. Any suggestions ? I am using 2 runes of attunement and 1 radiant insignia.

I don't want to sacrifice too much health by swapping more vitae runes foe attunement runes.

Is it possible to get an energy mod for a shield or sword ? Any other suggestions ?

Thanks guys.

You can use the spacebar to attack enemies.

Stop using so many energy-based attack skills. You shouldn't need more energy on a warrior unless you're running Shock.

I have tried using only 2 attack skills which use energy but then I find I dont build enough adrenaline. Too much attack skills, fit some other skill in there like Watch Yourself and Shield up instead of the energy attack skills. Not only will that help you manage energy but it also help your teammate. Try to fit a res signet in there too instead of heal sig, as a monk I rather have my warrior keep hitting and do damage while I heal him. Rather then he use Heal Sig and potentially get spike from -40 armor.

Adrenaline is gain through hitting the enemy (1 strike per hit, or 2 while under FGJ or other adren gaining skills) and the enemies hitting you (though this adrenaline gain is very little). So i don't see how you can't build adrenaline with FGJ.

It just means you can swing Power Attack or whatever one more time.. you'll still run out of energy if you're not using it well. Your issue is one of a poor setup. For one, your skill bar is too reliant on energy-based skills. Why are you bothering to spam energy attack skills when you have "For Great Justice!" on your bar? Most of those energy attacks are inferior in power to adrenaline skills anyway.

Also, if you can't use any of your attack skills, you can still auto-attack. Clicking an enemy, or hitting spacebar with one selected should do this automatically. Your attack skills should just be used occasionally when appropriate... and you gain adrenaline for free.

If you post what GW chapters you own, someone here could definitely post a better build for you to aspire to. Alternatively, post your own and we can try to give you some advice.

Attack Attack Attack Utility IncreasedAttackSpeed SpeedBoost HealSig ResSig

You really don't want more than 4 at most attack skills. Adren attacks > Energy attacks

Example:

[skill]Crippling Slash[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]Sun and Moon Slash[/skill][skill]Conjure Frost[/skill][skill]Frenzy[/skill][skill]Rush[/skill][skill]Healing Signet[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

I don't actually use that bar, but it was the first to come to mind for a Sword War, haha.

h9dlb what main weapon do you carry?

Personally (and people may have much better suggestions) i put radiant insignias on my armour to get a bit more energy (an addtional 8) and run with a zealous weapon (-1 energy regeneration but +1 per hit)

With a Sword build, i tend to open with Elite 100 blades which builds up some energy and adrenaline. Its more effective if you are in a large group of monsters as it his a few of them.

If you have Nightfall, get the sunspear skill whirlwind attack which works similarly to hundred blades and also builds up a nice chunk of adrenaline and energy. Chuck in one more energy based attack and an adrenaline based attack to keep the damage up and some support skills like watch yourself and a res sig. I'd also suggest drunken master as at a reasonable level of Delver title track, you gain a nice boost to attack speed that will help with the energy and adrenaline.

Just watch out for Hexes that can really screw up the build.

If you are using an axe build, triple chop replaces 100 blades and you can also drop in cyclone axe to get a similar result.

Try this build out
http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:W/...op_PvE_Warrior. If you don't have some of the skills, try picking similar ones from a skill trainer.

Drop your energy attack skills, most of the energy attack skills suck.

Use this, without Factions its probably the best option for sword.

The only energy req Adrenal skill I'm aware of off the top of my head is Mokele Smash but I doubt you're using it. Energy attacks don't help you gain adrenaline and are, as a general rule, not worth the cost. It would help us help you if you posted the build you're using.

Basically the combo of [skill]Power Attack[/skill] and [skill]Counterattack[/skill] are the only energy skills worth using in PvE, aside from an elite like [skill]Triple Chop[/skill]

Build your bar around 3-4 attack skills that are stagered so one is always charged and ready to go for a presure build or set up a spike that can be quickly recharged once used.

How are you not gaining adrenaline by not being able to spam your energy attacks? You are auto attacking, right?
Other than that go zealous, if you are still having energy problems, stop using so much energy its not needed, Adrenaline > Energy.

When I run axe in PvE, I always have [skill]Triple Chop[/skill] and [skill]Furious Axe[/skill] on my bar.
But those two skills, like all energy attack skills, are only good as long as you have the energy to spam them on recharge, so I always bring a zealous axe and zero other energy based skills (not including rez).

Basically, from my experience, warriors only have enough energy to support two energy skills (not including rez). Whether it be two energy attack skills or one energy attack skill and one energy utility skill such as For Great Justice, Mending Touch, etc.
If you add a third energy skill to the bar, you're going to have problems, with the only possible exception being an attunement (if you don't plan on it being stripped) because of it's long duration.
And sometimes even with only two energy skills, you'll still need a zealous weapon depending on how spammy those two skills are. For the two skills I posted above for example, you'll need a zealous weapon to spam them on recharge.

Of course, one of the first warrior elites you'll get in prophecies is [skill]Warrior's Endurance[/skill], which while not awesome in comparison to a lot of elites you get later, is a decent way of maintaining e-attack spam, especially with a zealous weapon.

Most energy skills sucks, so switch to mostly adrenaline and if you have a problem getting the required adrenaline use 'For Great Justice' or 'You Will Die'
