I'm thinking of farming the yeti quest where you have to hunt down a bunch of bosses (Mount Qinkai, I think) for more faction. Wisdom is painfully low (560, I think) and chest hunter even lower (under 500). I may try to combine lucky (currently at 1.1mil) with chest hunting if I can get the money. I'll be gathering sweets and booze too (again if money is available). I wish I'd made survivor (died at 1.01 mil xp).

Then again, I'd like to start working on getting my FoW armor, so we'll see.
Treasure is pretty much a mandatory title for GWAMM, but the upside is that doing it all of it on 600g chests will get you 30% of the way to your wisdom title. If you're already at 1mill+ lucky that one is definitely a free title from here. You'll be opening 10k chests for the treasure hunter title and averaging a retain rate of over ~65% during that time which will give you another 1.6 million lucky points taking you up to Blessed.

I would definitely advise against drunkard or at least see what its like before you buy the full 10k drinks. I made the mistake of stocking up before discovering that act of zonedrinking was completely unbearable.

Over all, it sounds like you're pretty close to where I am. My character predates the survivor title so that one isn't available and there is just no way I'm ever going to spend weeks repeating a HFF run, despite being kuzick. I've ended up settling on the following list of titles to work on:
  1. Protector/Guardian (done)
  2. Skill hunter (done)
  3. Cartographer (done)
  4. Vanquisher (done)
  5. MotN (done)
  6. SS/LB (done)
  7. 4xEotn Reputation (1/4 done)
  8. Lucky (40% done)
  9. Sugar (20% done - lots of my sugar is in the form of cupcakes, candycanes etc so I'm eating these to gain the benefits as I play. I'll scoff the remaining when I'm done lol).
  10. Treasure Hunter (25% done - another long one. The best I can manage is 60 chests/hour in irontoe's lair which means another 125hrs or running).
  11. Wisdom (25% done - I'm guessing that by the time I've finished the other titles, this one will be more or less complete naturally).

If you're doing it for a gw2 benefit, I think you be better off spending your time elsewhere. GWAMM is really a title for completionists that just can't walk away from a game until they've "beaten" it.

@ The Op, very nice guide. Though I have to disagree on 2 things :

Little tip since I am at 29 my self.

Beter to do Drunkyard while you are Vanquishing. Its not that expensive anymore especialy Vs Treasure Hunter. At 40ish Chest an Hour or even 30 ( counting here time to sell a bit of those perfect req 9 and mods and merching all the rest ) it will take quite some time and its very boring.

So if you do that Drunkyard title like I did during Vanquishing , which don't even feel like a title since you have to be on maps sometimes for 3h.

After that I would say that money wise it's not the best but if I would have knew about Survivor before I made that Ele I would not had to go 10 million Faction. So in my opinions this should be the best combo :

Survivor = 1
Carto = 4
Vanqui = 4
Mission NM / HM = 7
Drunk/sweet = 2
Skill caping = 4
Wisdome =1
Master north = 1
Rep Gwen = 4
Light/Sunspear = 2

Which is 30.

Again very nice guide and Merry X mas Ya all

27 myself at the moment. I am about 96% done on sweet-tooth and 75% - (7.5 million factions) r11 done on Kurzick title (I bet you people see me run in Lut all the time, heck I see Labrats there all the time, lol).

I wish I had known about HFFF so I can get that easy Lengendary survivor and no need to to chest run, ugggh.

One thing I will say about FFF is that the real grind for this title only starts when you get to r10 because from r10-r11 and r11-r12 is a really long and painful stretch (2.5 million apart).

After I max out Kurzick and sweet tooth I will still be at 29 and still need to max out treasure hunter title because it is the easiest and cost the least amongst lucky/wisdom. I don't bother with wisdom because say 7K/5 gold you pay, it will cost you 6 million to get all the golds you need. Also, think about the time you have to spend in town spamming "want to buy gold for ID". That can take a long time to do...so I don't bother.

One thing I want to add to the guide is that you might want to just stick with 600g keys before you reach at least r4 in both Lucky and treasure hunter title. The easiet run is in Borea Seabed explorable, you can easily spot 5 chests in a 5 min run.

One thing I would like to get some input is, let say your are r4 treasure hunter and r4 Lucky (1200 chest opened), about where I am at now, how many stacks of lotpicks did it take you to max out the treasure hunter title and how long did it take you to do it?

And if anyone has a guide, or a quick, cheap way to get wisdom instead of paying so much, and spending so much time spamming, please post it.

You could farm it I suppose, but even then it might take a while. Maybe if you friends/guildies/family members that you trust and don't care about the wisdom title, they could give it to you unid, let you id it, then trade it back. They might want a little payment for any unlocks though, and there is the chance that you could perfect salvage off the good mods (this is bad though :P).

Nice guide btw, titles are common sense but it's nice to see them all unified and in a good layout.

WtB NF Unids 4.5k = 7. Thats the common price. Easy to get tons a 4k.
I get alot of mods that usualy take time to sell but if you sell to a low price, you actulay make $$ doing this title and cheap prices sell faster then fast.
I now have tons of new req 9 skins for all my Heros. About 5 sets of -10 Vs Shields insriptions for later Elite skins PvP uses.

All unids sell back to merch for 150-400ish Gp. Let's go fair and say 200 gp.

4.500 gp base price. 1.400 $$ back sure make you 3.1k base price if you buy at 4.5k.

From 3.1. of 7 Golds incribles Weapons...how hard it is to get your $$ back ?

Even if you would sell straight all your req 9 and perfect mods it cost only 3 million. I just passed my 5000 Unids this week after only 8 days of 2-3h a night doing so. My stack of ectos went from 72 to 144 in 8 days. I must had sell things ovre and over for a 2-3h a day as well. So that was a 4-6h a day work here.

Go figure.

10 000 Chest = grossly 5000 Golds.

10 000 Chest with keys at 600gp all the way till the end = 6 Million but all know we only use those for the first easy part. SO Hunter = at least 2-3 times more expensif and maybee 50 times the amount of time needed to do so.

Cheers

I buy unid golds in bergen hot springs because I got the chinese text from someone I know....7 for 3.5k I usually make 2k'ish back so 1.5k per 7 golds

Thats about 214 gold per unid gold which means bout 2 mill depending on mods you find. ANd i cna get about 100golds per 5-10 mins

Drunkard is harder to get than kurzick and chest runner? Imo i'd think i'd do drunkard over either of them. then chest runner if u have the funds for it, it about 200 hours shorter than kurzick, but kurzick give you money.

I have a little question, do God Amongst Mere Mortal count as a maxed title in HoM ? I mean, is there a monument available to display when you reach it ?

Yes, i know about that. I was thinking of a monument (like the monument to Incorrigible Ale-Hound, Legendary Cathographer, Legendary Guardian ect) when maxing the KOABD track is available to display.

u just need to carefully plan what u're going to do and the amount of time required is not that mad. if i went for titles only i could easily take that down to 1600-1700 hours i guess, a lot of actual gameplay in tose 3100 hours
That's over one year of a full time job... Even at minimum wage, it'd come at some $20,000...

And they say GW is free.

If you are doing vanquishing and cartography separate you are wasting some serious amount of time. Same with LB/SS (I had like 60k sunspear from vanq, only had to do about 10k lightbringer to max the title).

Anyway, I would like someone to point me a good guide to chestrunning. I have no idea how it works, I mean do you get lucky from keys? Why? They do not break like lockpicks, do they?
