The first icon shows a warrior in Canthan armour, which is strange for a Prophecies skill. Somethin' fishy's goin' on 'round here...

yeah i don't like the skill icon used in the game, but it does bear a resemblance to the icon with the warrior in Canthan armor.

Think I like the old Power Flux better. Looks more painful.

And whoever is in that other icon reminds me of the Kurzicks.

Lots of equipment that was "introduced" in later campaigns was actually already around in the Beta; it was just left out and only officially added to the release version of the game at a later date. Some examples include Elemental Swords, Colossal Scimitars (which can be seen on the skill icon for Illusionary Weaponry), and Silver Eagle Armor.

Do you remember how Anet was saying they were looking to reword skill descriptions?

Maybe they're thinking about redoing icons as well. (Unlikely, though.)

Rofl, that means 15k Luxon was a reskin. WHERE IS THE PISSING AND MOANING?

Not a reskin but a very similar shape. Kind of like Norn warrior armor and Ascalon armor. That aside...

Pretty cool. It'd be awesome to see something like that in-game for every skill available. And isn't there a site for those "cards" or something?

Just about everything in the game is a reskin, dawg. You just have to roll with the model scanning homies to dig the scene, see?
