Guild Wars Prophecies for $9.99 at Best Buy

I was just scanning a website that lists the after-Thanksgiving sales in the U.S. (apologies to our international friends). Page 12 shows Guild Wars Prophecies for $9.99 on Friday & Saturday the 23rd and 24th.

The site is located at http://blackfridayhome.com/. The upper right link for adscans shows actual scans of the future ad.

Looks like a cheap way of adding extra storage for people like me, who have 2 accounts filled up.

Caveat emptor and all that, as I can't verify the veracity of the scans.

Guild Wars Prophecies is the game. Guild Wars Prophecies is on sale on Black Friday. Hence, with substitution, the game is on sale on Black Friday. Therefore, it's a discussion about the game. People wanting to play the game can now buy the game for 10 bucks on that date. People wanting more of the game (alternate account) can buy more of the game on Black Friday. People can give the game away as a gift so that other people can play the game with them.

Sounds like they're discussing the game to me :-) Don't change the subject as it's about the game being sold on Black Friday, not about Best Buy's Black Friday sale in general.

LOL nice, a gaming aunt. I only have two sets of parents who have wished for me to stop playing these videogames ever since I began!(they are for kids afterall...)

From an euro point of view, I never realized how big Thanksgiving was in the US until I visited there during that time. you could say that Christmas is it's equal for the euros really.

If your existing account already has Prophecies then I don't think so, nope.(Might even get an error message saying "You already have Prophecies key in this account blablabla") But if you make it a separate new account you can use it as storage for your "more important" account.

I'm pretty sure that you cannot do that, even though I'd love to simply add 4 new toons. You will create an entirely new account, as you can't link Prophecies to an account that already has prophecies, at least in the store.

So you'll either have to have two computers, or trustworthy guildies who can help you transfer items from your primary to your mule account.

that would be a no, it's been a dead horse ever since the release of Factions.

You don't need two computers, you can run two accounts on the same PC.

I posted this yesterday but didn't think it was worth putting in Riverside Inn.

Hope it helps anyone out who's on the fence on getting this game; the first chapter is the way to go for them.

Too bad I've already got 2 Prophecies accounts otherwise I'd be all over that.

Oh, and what website listing were you looking at? Yeah, too bad this'll be one of the only times. Best Buy prices suck.
