Question about Glint

Why did we have to kill Glint? I don't see how the was supposed to better the story line. He was on our side, and we killed him? What are we, white mantle??

It's a she. No one knows, since it doesn't have any effect on the rest of the game.

We probably knocked her unconsious or something. She appears later on and none of the Brotherhood seem to be up in arms about the death of Glint. So ether she was simply knocked out or its not actually party of the storyline.

Yeah, I've always found that bonus pretty pointless. Its not even as if we used the Dragon Egg for anything. I guess we were just trying to say, "respect mah authoritah," to her. Or something like that.

I've read a theory that it was just something like showing our strength, but not going all the way to kill her. But we proved ourselves even more.

Glint's Challenge in EotN seems to make it fairly clear that she is either not dead or is something like Obi-Wan Kenobi.

You did notice that shes not actually dead and chucks you out of her den for trying?

Anett probably just put that in a challenge to fight a lvl30 creature. Until the expansions were released and/or SF was added and HM, she was the most powerfull creature ingame to fight.

But extremely easy to kill.

You also must have noticed that she gives you the Titan quests at the end of prophercies, from her big floating head in Droks? Glint is obviously corporial and non-corporial or just that oober powerfull she cant die!

Killing her makes about as much sense as the story line to GWEN and the number of loop-holes in that storyline which exist!

my theory is that she god ressurected by the gods. then again unless she appears in person sometime in GW2 then we can consider her dead and that her ghost is talking to us.

Who cares if she is dead, lazy cow just sits in her grain of sand all day, at least kuvannganganagangangangana helped out.

I'm just curious, when the dragons awaken and when we re-enter the picture in GW2 will glint (and kuvanng too for that matter), be turned against us, or still somewhat freindly... or dead... i dunno. There may be some spoilers about this stuff already out there somewhere but I havnt seen them.
