Ya, about the male vanguard...only resemblance I see on the chest is that it, like flameforged, has round bits sticking out of the shoulders. Gloves look NOTHING like flameforged. Legs, maybe. But flameforged pants are simple pants with a fire symbol on it, so similarities are moot there. Anyways, those boots look more like stoneforged than flameforged, and look more like stone than norn boots do.
As someone whose main character is a male ele that, thus far, only wears flameforged, it is my not-so-professional opinion that vanguard looks nothing like it. Also, if my previous post was not enough, I suppose I could go into a more detailed analysis.
Norn vs Stoneforged:
Notable features: Norn has round-ish fur, while stoneforged has rough stone jutting out every which way.
Shoulders: stoneforged has thick-looking shoulder pads, norn has none
Robe: stoneforged has front opening that angles into the side points, then turns into curves leading to the back point. Norn has front opening going straight down to roughly 90 degree angles, then going straight across to other side.
Gloves/boots: stoneforged ends at a sharp angle, while norn has a thin round bump (upper forearm/upper part of lower leg)
Everything not noted here: pretty much same across all ele armor.
Now I could go on about the dwarven, but I don't really feel like it. But apply the same type of analysis and you will see how it doesn't look like storm ('cept, of course, the chest). Although, I did notice something while doing ^that^. All the EotN ele armor DOES appear to be of the same STYLE as Prophecies armor. Not quite the exotic-ish style of NF and defininatly not the almost business attire of Factions (part of that only applies to male armor though

). Although, if I had to equate each EotN ele armor sets with each Proph elite ele sets, I'd say you're right on the money.
