So, just as the beta ended, I get ported off to Ascalon City, and now I can't access of the skills/heroes I acquired in EotN. That's not what I bought the pre-release for. I was under the impression I'd actually get to keep what I got, instead of having it locked off. LAME.

It was well known weeks ago that any heros and skills acquired during the preview weekend would be locked untill GW:EN goes live on Friday.

You do keep it...when you buy the game. They wouldn't just let people pay a few £/$ to get the extra stuff without buying the full game.

NO ONE made this clear, and don't expect to pass it off with "but you should know from reading the forum" or whatever, because I really don't.

Nope, it was always clearly stated that you would be able to keep everything you did and that it would be available when the game went live. It hasn't gone live yet. That's why it was called a sneak peek weekend.

i don't find it lame that skills/heroes are locked out... knew that was comming


I did find it totally lame out anet ended the pre-release... no special ceremony, no gwen massacre , nothing... not even a visit from gaile or the frog... just disconnected us and shipped us off to ascalon.

Uhhh it's common sense, do they need to post a huge CLUE sign telling you it? Anywhere you check for the preview weekend it says, "Get a chance to unlock and try stuff out that you will be able to keep when the full version is released.


Though items/pets are fine, my new weapons and stuff I got I still have, and Magrid still has her pet eagle.

Yeah, they do, because unlike you forum rats, I have other things to do with my time then read crap about GW. Have a nice evening, you losers. You can go ahead and do whatever you want with this topic, I'm not gonna bother reading anymore. Again, unlike all of you, I have things to do.

It was quite obvious. Everyon in game was talking about it and I am sure I read something about it when I bought the pre-release.
