But yeah, I agree, that's way too much favor, I think they should work it like such:

For every maxed title, it adds 1 minute of favor. 50 Maxed titles are required in order to regain favor of the gods.

Obviously 3 is too much, since it'll never go away...

Now that everyone can do his/her favourite area whenever they want, there's someone that ALWAYS but ALWAYS has to complain, to the complainers: how is this affecting you? or you're so obsessed by money that you want ectos to rise? Goddamn now that its working fine stop complaining like little kids and let everyone play the areas when they want.

Oh please. It's obvious what the problem is. What's the dealio with favor when you constantly have it anyway? Why not just have permanent favor, period? It makes no sense.

Luckily, ArenaNet isn't overly incompetent like some MMO developers (Korea, I'm looking at you). I'm confident that they will do some tweaking with this whole favor stuff.

the problem with perma-favor is that there is no incentive to do anything more than what you might have done normally. i think right now a lot of ppl are specifically working on titles because they want the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing hall prize. and the favor change is meant to encourage that for when guild wars 1 dies. gw1 will turn into grinding rubbish and highlight the new game, gw2. whoopee.

i mean, what the old system encouraged the cross union of pvp and pve. and it has been very clearly stated over and over again especially here on guru that pve shouldnt be tied to pvp. so i think anet has gone that extra step to kiss some ass and untie the two. but i think its garbage.

it used to be that when your region had favor it was (while predictable, europe/america) still somewhat glamorous. and it gave a reason for ppl to HoH. now what is the point to HoH? an emote? sexy. but there is no real reason at all to HoH except if you like that format. kinda balances out the other pvp formats but definitely takes away any of the glamor and any pve related reason to pvp at all.

the favor changes effectively unties pve from pvp. thats the way i see it. and yes i think its RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing lame.
