All item duplication exploit (do not name players please)

It has gotten very annoying and pathetic lately how many high end minis are getting 100+ armbrances in trade,

examples of what ive heard of / seen:

Mini Kanaxi 95 mil!
1000 armbrances for 5 minis, in 1 trade....

I, and many other legitimate high end traders are very turned off to the game because there are so many trades like this happening.

ANET FIX IT NOW BEFORE I SELL MY SOUL TO THE DEVIL!

Few things are going on, with no doubt....

95 mil.. ebaying would be... im guessing 5 - 10 thousand dollars american.... i dont know exactly cause i dont deal with or go to any of the such sites...

Duping items seems the only logical option happening... i am thinking the only location that they are able to dupe items like this is... at the stone for armbrance dealer..

im guessing they offer, disconnect, accept, reconnect, and do it over again....

I am not saying to do this, i am not saying i want to or approve of it, i am just suggesting how they are doing it....

Many reasons, they are not duping anything but armbrances... from the way it looks... not like 1000 mini pandas, its 1000 armbrances....

Nothing other! Its IMPOSSIBLE to have 1750 (!!!!!!!) armbraces, thats over 50000 ecto!!

This isn't legit gold. I know all the games mega rich, none of them would spend stupid amounts of money on mini-pets.

There is something screwed up here, nobody would buy that much gold.

if it is a dupe hack, i really hope anet perma-bans all the people that did it.

some input from gaile or anet would be nice.

This game has been out for 2+ years and it continues to have MAJOR issues. Where do these people get these armbraces? Are they the new currency? This is absolutely sad if you ask me.

of course it's not legit lol...people have 50k + ECTOS (not cash) is completely rediculous/ruining the game.

anet needs to take this out before half of its loyal gamers quit.

i think it is kind of rediculous how out of no where people start coming out selling stacks of armbraces. It shows theres a problem with DoA whether theres an insane amount of bots or whether it got insanely easy to get gems but it seems at this rate torment weapons are going to be worthless

and if you think about it, hundreds of players made a substancial investment getting a torment item for their own use. with the prices falling an insane amount in just a few days people have to decide whether to resell their item now for a huge loss of money or just keep it even though itll be a very common item soon anyway

It seems every time anet comes out with an item that would be considered rare, that is high end and people buy to show off, something is updated and the market gets flooded with them, people lose money and it becomes an ordinary item. The cycle just continues like that over and over and many of the loyal gamers get frustrated and quit.

It's pretty clear that a duping method has been discovered. Anet needs to get on this. Now.

Price for the armbraces will go down ... that's also sure :/

But how the ... did they get them? I think, from the side of the programmers nowhere you have a chance to "dupe" items ...

There is many radical solutions that could be taken...
Do not allow more than one stackable item of the same type at the same time.
Do not allow trading 0 value items...
And the fault will be completely theirs.

Yeah, that would make 100k+251 ecto impossible... but there are more materials... obsidian, rubies, sapphires...

no, those are real armbraces, i can 100% sure for that, they are duped yes, but they are all legit items and u can trade for tormented weapons. so yes, the armbraces are real and it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO F**King many of em out there

i saw someone offer 1000 Armbraces and jesus christ he had them.
