Now that Favor is changed, please complete the Realms!

My apologies in advance to the moderation team for starting yet another thread about this, but please, hearken to me.

The changes to Favor are a good start, but what pretty much all PvE'ers have been waiting for since the release of Factions is to finally see the Realms of the Gods finished.



Finish FoW and UW

When all quests have been finished, let there be an ending quest where you face off a final boss of some sorts (something related to Menzies in FoW and Dhuum in UW, for example). Green drop would be a plus. Heck, how about a message that is broadcasted in the major cities saying "Player's team has defeated the forces of Dhuum in the Underworld?.



And the age-old plea:

Give us the Realms of Lyssa, Dwayna and Melandru

Pretty, pretty, pretty please. More than any campaign, expansion or mission pack.

You say that 3 weeks before GW:EN. Prioritize much?

No, I'm reiterating this right after the Favor changes. Which means ArenaNet still remembers that FoW and UW exist. Which means they might still be willing to improve it.

As I've said, it's what many have been asking for since the release of Factions.

I doubt that. I blame the HA weekend.

ArenaNet Dev 1: So, we're evaulating every aspect of Heroes' Ascent...hey, what the heck is favor doing here?

ArenaNet Dev 1: Well we might as well throw the unskilled PvErs a bone for once. Go boot up the Random Idea Generator (TM) until it has a somewhat plausible idea for Favor. Make sure it's totally irrelevant to lore, as that takes production resources, and no one cares about lore!

ArenaNet will never add the last 3 realms. They will likely milk GW:EN for all it's worth, as opposed to adding new retroactive content.

you have officially left GW for WOW several times now.

why do you keep returning to the fansite of a game you left for the game of your love life instead of playing wow which you say is so much better?

I love your suggestion Lagg... love it, love it, love it. Excellent idea for another expansion... and there's plenty of time for another expansion before GW2.

Just because you no longer play does not mean you are no longer entitled to opinion, no matter how harsh that opinion may be.

As for Lagg's suggestion, /signed. We have a big two years before GW2 comes out. Will see what happens in between now and then.

Looking at DoA, Id really hate for ANet to make these areas, which sucks because theyre the only ones that might.

Btw pingu666, those ideas are REALLY stretched, and it really isnt important what enemies there are in the area for it to be linked to a particular enemy.

actually give it some time, theres gonna be like what still 2 years until gw2 is released? so in that time they can easily add more realms.

If they do make new realms I hope they reflect the god's well. Especially Lyssa's realm. She's my fav god and it would be fun to have a realm that involved thinking and not just nuking or tanking. Of course I want to be able to get favor from other god's but I can leave that to GW2.

They will add more titles so that people can spent 3 months doing the same thing, OR spend 6 million gold for it. That is quality "content". They are even encouraging it with the new favor system. Look at how they babied HA when favor was linked to it. Trying to get everyone to go to HA. Now favor is linked to titles. Guess what? : /

A green at the end seems possible. However the other realms are still a dream.

in GW2 maybe, GW1 definetly not.

I heard the Mists will be exclusively for PvP in GW2.

I can't remember where I read it so I can't back that up.

I definitely would.

This way, nothing gets retroactively updated for free (well, except perhaps a FoW/UW update).

ArenaNet gets to make a few bucks from something we've always wanted.

We get something we've always wanted.

As for the "No comment" part, I hate to be the one despairing, but I think it'd be a SUBSTANTIAL marketing boost if they simply advertised New Realms of the Gods in GWEN -- Preorder Now!

And since I like to think that their marketing department knows more about selling their product than yours truly, I'm inclined to believe that we won't see any such places in GWEN.

Zinger was a pure PvEer... That comment had nothing to do oncesoever with PvPers, he was just talking about PvEers that sucked at PvE...

As for the Realms, I've wanted them since I first started playing GW, and I still want them now.

Hey, yeah... thre could be a final boss in each realm, and then a final battle against a sall child-like creature that looks like a tiny Seer...

And then you finish the 'core' elite missions and you get the 'Legendary Hero of the Mists' title, XD.

I would pay up to 15€ per realm.
