Online Store, possible hack after buying?

In the past few days heard rumors about account hacks after buying via the online store, also a friend got hacked that way. Afraid to buy from the online store cause of this. Can anyone confirm this? thanks in advance.

Honestly, I think its just coincidental. I have never heard of any troubles like that with the store. Its a bit more likely I think your friend happened to pick up a keylogger from somewhere at around the same time he or she visited the store. That or they brought it on themselves somehow by sharing their password or a clue to it.

A guildie pointed me to this thread today. I had just told him that I had a weird occurrance happen to me the other day.

I purchased an extra character slot from the online store 3 days ago , the next time my virus scanner fired up (8 hours later) , I had a Trojan Horse with the file name PSW OnlineGames h0122hff0.dll in my system32 folder.

Since the last previous virus scan I had not downloaded anything else , the only other possible download was a youtube farming video from the wiki .

I *highly* doubt this was from the in-game online store, what web browser do you use?

I didn't say that this is where the trojan came from . I said that I found this thread interesting because it was 10 minutes after I mentioned it to a guildie that he pointed me here . Since he is a programmer , I even asked him if it would be possilbe to acquire a trojan in this fashion .

To answer your question , I run a completely updated Firefox , with a extemely tight firewall .
