Guild Wars Ultimate Edition?

As I was browsing through the play.com site in search of a NF copy I stumbled upon the Guild Wars Ultimate Edition.

It features some new stuff, like pins, artbook and the like.

While I was planning to buy a NF standalone copy, I decided to wait till this box will be released. Also, I was wondering if there will be more versions from NF or Fac. like the SE and 2k6 edition of Prophecies. Are there any Arenanet ppl who can confirm or say anything about it?

Well, you know what they say- if it hasn't been announced by ANet, it's not official. Still sounds interesting, though- even more goodies than the CEs, with the exception of an in-game aura.

Out of curiosity, what does it mean by "A0/A1 size" for the posters?

A0/A1 is like paper size...For example A4 paper.
A0 largest - A6 smallest

It's the size of the poster Scutilla. A0 = 1 squared meter I think and for every additional number it's halfed. A1 = half squared meter and A2 is 1/4th squared meter.

It says the following:
* A1 - Approximately 23x33 inches, the standard size for German posters though smaller do exist (A2, A3, etc.) Avaliable both folded and rolled.

* Türplakat (Doorpanel) - Varies in length and width, though usually just a bit longer than the A1.

* A0 - 33x46 inches, either vertical or horizontal.

* A00 - 46x65 inches, either vertical or horizontal. A large poster, produced in two pieces, folded.


Which makes a pretty huge poster

I hope by USB key they don't mean "copy protection dongle"... that would seem fairly pointless for GW anyway. Just what is that item?

A USB "key" is a flash storage device. 2 GB worth. Thats actually pretty cool, might look into that when/if it comes to the states.

I hope that "GW Ultimate CE Security card" has the ingame CE parts on a seperate code, so that you can put it on your current account to get the emotes and give the main game code to a friend. Wishful thinking on my part....

"GW Ultimate CE Security card" worrys me becuase i own all 3 game CE and if it gives them all 3 of them, it basicly means i'm mad. Hopefull it addes a new type instead. Anywho very nice, i might just have to get it for the hell of it.

I will only even think of buying if:
1) I have the funds at the time of release (I'm going through hard times now)

2) The Extra game codes are on a SEPERATE Accesskey than the games, so I can add the extras to my main account and make another account with the game keys - not waste them.

I'll try buying it if it is released in north america, since the hard cover art book, and the usb dongle just makes up for the price, not to mention all the other extras like pins. And the possibility of a new mini (not interested) and a special CE effect is jus too cool. I wonder if Anet will make it so we can add it to our current accound and get like 6-8 character slots, and all the ingame extras added to our current account.

I wonder what the new miniature its talking about will be?

oooo, it says the game manuals are preloaded on the flash drive. Fancy.
If it comes with a numbered certificate, I wonder just how many units are being produced. I hope it's at least slightly more than the last CE since more people would want this than a standard CE.

Its just what I want but its released too far in to the future. I really want the skill pins and I'm curious as to what the pet will be.

I dunno, I'd be spending an awfully lot of money on stuff I mostly have (if it's true), stuff I have meaning the games. But oh man, look at that list of awesome.

At that price it wouldn't suprise me if the minipet stayed at 100k+ (if tradeable, of course).
