Muting Sound In Background Not Working?

The option feature that sounds like it is suppose to mute the sound when in background doesn't seem to be working. When I Alt+Tab to the Desktop the game is minimized to the Taskbar and I believe is running in background--no picture BUT the sound continue to play uninterrupted.

Does anyone concur or what am I missing in understanding this feature?

Is it okay to play this game using Alt+Tab to hop in and out of it or is this possibly creating unseen troubles?

interesting... i swear this used to work but apparently it doesn't work for me anymore.

Minimizing it will mute it, alt-tabbing will not.

When you minimize it everything is sent to the background (note how the Mem Usage drops when it gets minimized) but alt-tabbing will simply change your active window.

Ah, so that's what it is. I was wondering the same thing.

Just a FYI. There is a clickable button in the audio section to turn this feature off or on.

thats the problem.. that button doesnt work.
