Savages BS news:
Guild Wars 5 will be coming out in 2015! 24 new professions. 3 Skills added!
I agreed with mikkel, this source of information just doesnt seem that reliable...i think we making a big fuss out of someone playing a huge trick on us. :P
"Fresh Guild Wars announced" From the Inquirer!
29 pages • Page 6
Adopting wait and see stance this is the same BS they pull sometime ago with nightfall and faction.
quote "150 new skills, out of which 50 belong only to PvE (Player versus Enviroment). "
ok so 50 skill divided by 10 character = 5 skills each Subtract the junk skills = 1 actually useful PvE skill weeeee
As for if GW2 is release i am sure everyone have a question in mind(Is current GW1 characters transferable)
If Yes: Everyone is happy
If No: Whats the point of getting Eye of the North add on with the game becoming ghost town if everyones getting GW2 later on and moved on
Quote"main drool factor will be zone-wide events (read, open war in DaoC and Alterac Valley style"
My question are they refering to those GvG and HA eg 8v8 <---open war PvP alliance battle etc etc<---Another BS of small scale warfare trying to make it look big.
Then again all this is from "The inquirer" nothing is concrete just hype to bring people to their website.

Hmm now lets put things into perspective:
Eye of the North: Addon content to existing chapter with more of the same stuff (skills are new? we dont have to click on them now?) without any new mechanics added and perhaps even sold lesser but at a comparable price of a retail chapter? Does the term milking sound familiar to anyone? Let us not forget GW1 may not be cross compatitble with GW2...we paying more for a older dying game? GG.
GW2: More races, better eye candy, set level cap still with "sensitive leveling" (we gone through this crap before), possible RvR style PvP?(alliance battle joke anyone?) and we got to wait til 2009-2010 to get them? I hope this add-on can afford to pay the bills til then....otherwise we may see another "Eye of the south/west/east Addons" for GW1 not too soon after.
In short GW as a whole seem to me as an incomplete product with false marketing, with many of the enjoyable elements missing but slowly put them up under the guise of "free updates for a totally free online game" Or even maybe sell a totally new product with things that should have been in there in the first place. WOAH HOW COOL IS THAT!
Please go and buy multiple copies of Eye of the North for all your copies of GW we sure need all the money for Anet so the rest of us can afford to play it for free. Pretty please.

It does sound kinda cool. But I really hope there is a big change in game mechanics. IF it is the last new big content for 2 years then I can see pretty much the entire game's population leaving and finding something else to do. Now, what they may do is to release SF like expansions every 3-4 months which may help, but with so many MMO's about to be released competition would be fierce. I guess wait and see, and trust no one is the order of the day. |

Morporkian Mercenaries? Sounds like a Discworld fan to me
Atm I'm wondering how the OP actually *found* "The inquirer" - it seems to be quite a smallscale/obscure website. Still not too happy with its info though, especially if it is false. What is the point, other than amusment at all the unhappy fans here? :P

I'm going to wait for more info from other sources, especially PC Gamer/Anet until I am for sure about anything.
If Guild Wars 2 is not compatable with Guild Wars 1, I'm outta here. I have put TONS of time (3,500hours) and energy into Guild Wars, and if they make me leave my characters in Guild Wars 1, I will walk away from GW, ArenaNet and NCsoft forever.
Races? c'mon ArenaNet, races are for WoW and not GW.
PvP'ers do not need more stuff, they have their battle isles and I wouldn't be surprised if they added more content to that, but it looks like they are getting the short stick for Chapter4 (could be wrong, like I said I am waiting for confirmation from another source).
Also, this article doesn't sound like it is really knowledgeable of Guild Wars(DUNGEONS?!?!?!?)

As has been stated before, until you hear it from ANet it's just rumor. Articles in magazines can be traced to specific people at ANet / NCSoft. Random crap on a site such as The Inquirer is just rumor if it can't be verified.
