Well I took a screenshot of the whole thing in case anyone wants to make anyone remove any articles from their site.....

Hey, I hope that article is off on the new skills added.
Nightfall was supposed to have 350+ new skills and that article says 150.

Yeah i agree. But C&C is coming out with new version soon. Just tried out the demo and not to bad. Hopefully NCsoft+Anet can figure out a way to keep their players around, and to keep the game strong.

Why wouldn't they like the article if it's true?

All they have to do is keep making good games. I can't wait for chapter 4, and for GW2. I'll be here for both of them.

He means if they had intended for the news to remain secret for a while longer they might be mad. But I don't think they'd mind, though might be surprised at how fast word travels.

Well remember, it's an actual expansion and not a stand-alone like the others. And I rather doubt it would have any new professions.

I'm not so sure what to think about this. In the PC Gamer discussion, Gaile hinted that the magazine in fact has some exclusive rights on information about new chapters, if I remember correctly. And the following quote also makes me doubt:

"The price of the add-on is not known at the time of annoucement, but it will be less than already present campaigns. In order to play the game, gamers must own at least one of the already released GW campaigns, like Nightfall, Factions or Prophecies."

This just doesn't fit in their business concept for me. Didn't they say that every chapter is going to be playable as a stand alone? Why would they change that all of a sudden?

"Eye of the North" actually sounds extremely nice, but I guess I'll just wait for an official to confirm the information before I get all excited about it.

Oh yeah. I was thinking about that part. And the part about how 50 of them are PVE skills. That might mean we'll get to pick a third pool of skills to make builds from. 5 gods? I hate speculating, but it's so exciting.

Well it was supposedly announced at some conference. As for not fitting their business concept, maybe they decided to tweak their business model a bit after actually seeing it in action.

10 New heroes? Might see more spike teams in PVE? Hero Battles also will get the buff...lol there is so much that's gonna happen because of this expansion.

Shouldn't we be more worried about the soon to come skill balance?

Seems to be news from the Games Developer Conference which started today (http://www.gdconf.com/)...

As for not fitting with the current business concept..i fear that GW2 might turn out to be monthly fees

I really hope we could take our current characters over to GW2. With all that time invested and gold acquired it would be a shame to just leave it all behind and start fresh

I just hope that a Guild Wars 2 will offer the same versatility and customization of skill builds that Guild Wars does.
To me that is what made the game. The ability to completely create your own character and their playstyle.

I guess Anet is breaking thier promise...and not just one of them...

1. New campaign every 6 months.
2. Each campaign is stand alone.

I dunno, this is sounding more like an entire campaign, without the starter "island" or two new classes. Which is nice, because it would allow a little "catch-up" for Sins, Rits, Dervs, and Paras.

Again(there was a whole big ol' thread about these two comments already..), those were never promised. They said it was their goal and intention. After trying it and seeing how it actually works out, I'd rather they change what needs to be changed over continuing a method they see will soon fail.
