Thought for some reason the only way to destroy a destroyer weapon was to delete it. Used a superior salvage kit to get my 20% enchanting mod off . . . bye-bye, destroyer spear.

I wasn't actually using it (after putting it in my HoM I found it too garish to use, and kept it on Morgahn), and made it when onyx was at its cheapest. So I'm not too upset . . . but STILL.

Not true. It would just be more (but probably less) difficult. SoA is ftw!

Took my brand new Monument armor on a mapping run in the Southern Shiverpeaks. Ran into some mursatt. Dead in about 3 seconds. Guess what I forgot to do?

This was back in the day when we had to wait for our Continent to win the Favor of the gods.
America had won the favor and Europe was a bout to get it back (one more victory to go). I had just come from work and went all fast like to get my warrior and go to the UW. So I go to the ToA, go to grenths statue, /kneel, and go into the UW just as we lost favor. I pull the first group of Grasping Darkness just to find out right then that I had brought a completely different build. Dead in less than 5 seconds.
1K lost and had to wait like 2 more days to get into the UW.

I've done this dozens of times.

You get used to it after a while.

^^^ Not really, just put your weapons or armor in the bottom 2 bags in your inventory then uncheck the check marks at traders, this way you won't sell them by mistake.

Back to topic, 1st Wintersday, a rumor came out that the IDS will be just during Wintersday and it won't drop after that.
After many many many farming runs and me getting no IDS, I caved down and bought it.
The price was going up because of the rumor and I got it for 100k. A day later Anet said that it will be here to stay and prices came down like crazy.
I never gotten the IDS to drop for me all this time and the one I have now is the one I bought back in 2005 for 100k

Barraging myself to death, on a large group of Azure shadows in Snake Dance much to the amusement of all on ts,got reminded of that little gem last night...

Forgetting my ecto when I went to buy FoW ^^.

Tinkering with my registry, screwing my computer, forcing me to reformat and thus losing all of my screenshots from my first days in GW.... such as heading towards Maguuma with my ranger with points spread in prot/smite/healing and marks.

I felt like i'd lost the family photo album in a fire.

Or put something you can't sell to the merchant between the stuff you want to keep and the stuff you want to merch, like a minipet, Victory Token, random quest item, etc.

I have done that for a long time now, and it works really well. Currently using my Zho's Journal.

It's the only REAL use of a Minipet.

Just yesterday, someone in my group was insisting that you can't manually DC. I set out to prove them, and accidentally just left the game instead

Run in window mode, go into Ctrl Alt Delete, processes, GuildWars.exe, end it, and then restart it and log back on, then reconnect. Simple.

so many times i deleted characters with items on them. my latest was when i deleted my ranger with a req.8 15^50 platinum bow, 2 other bows, and my mini Lich as a result of rage after i lost his survivor. when i realized it, i turned off GW and played CS then went to sleep. a sad sad day for TomTom :[
