Its a nifty idea and all, but I just cant see it..
Im one of those people who feel mini-pets were, and still are, a bad idea, and this would just add to that feeling.. Perhaps Im the only one who feels this way, but as a player my opinion matters as well.
And if this does come about, I might be tempted to quit if anything remotely connected to Gwen is added, this Gwen conspiracy stuff has gotten way out of hand.

BUT... only if they can't be traded or sold. Minipets aren't a bad idea, but Anet killed it by allowing them to be traded. There's no prestige in being able to sell something meant as a thank-you to the longtime players. Anybody who bought the game and eBayed gold could get a minipet and nobody would really care. I wouldn't mind having this if the people who actually HAVE played a long time are the ones who get the item.
(Not to be mean to the newbies out there, but there has to be something in it for the people who have been here a while besides being able to say "Remember when there were attribute refund points?")
