W/Mo aatxe solo =)

This is one of my first farming guides . This build is based on a warrior using riposte to kill the bladed aatxes in underworld and using 55hp with protective spirit + vigorius to stay alive. Also this may fail for first timers but keep trying. You get ectos if you do it right on a lucky run.

Skills:
Mending
Balthazar's spirit
Vigorius spirit
Protective spirit
Apicious Parry or warriors endurance if you lack energy
Riposte
Deadly riposte
Bonnectis Defense

Attrb:
11 Prot
10 Heal
14 Tactics


equipment: You will need an sword with +5 energy, +20% enchantment and a -50hp grim cesta.
A longbow or flatbow ( for pulling aatxes)
gladiators armor (any armor lvl is fine) with all the superior runes


Usage:
Ok when you enter underworld, cast mending and balthazar spirit on you. You should have 10+ energy and zero regen. Now either side theres 2 aataxes that don't move and 1 that will move to either side patrolling. Pull those 2 aatxes using your bow then switch back to your +5 energy weapon and -50hp cesta and cast prot spirit when they get close. Now use vigorius spirit and start attacking. They will use deadly riposte which will bleed you but don't worry, thats why mending is there to counter the degen. Keep attacking the aatxes to gain health from vigorius spirit then use apicious parry>riposte>deadly riposte. Deadly riposte is there because it gives bleeding to the aatxes to counter there nautral 3 regen. Use bonnetis defense when you are below 10-15 energy because if you don't you will probably die because you don't got energy for protective spirit. This build works with graspings although i never tried them. You will have to switch to your normal armor when you fight graspings. Anyways if you happen to get an dying nightmare to pop up, just hit deadly riposte( it will block aatxes attack) and run back to the npc ghosts. You have to stand behind the ghosts in order for them to body block the aataxes. Now switch to your bow and cast vigorious spirit and start attacking the nightmare. It will do 15 dmg per hit so the nightmare dies fast.

So yeah there you go a warrior/monk solo aaxtes for ectos. and each run i get about 0-2 ectos. I don't know if the smites give more ectos but the aatxes do give an 2 more % chance to drop.

Very, very interesting. Just a few questions: 1, how long does a run of aatxes usually take? 2: can you post a few screenshots? or maybe add a video later on?

Oh the run takes about 10-15 mins depending on situation and yeah i will post screen shots and maybe a video if i could.

What are your attribute points?
What do you do when you killed the blade aaxtes?

you can either take the quest from the lost soul to kill the graspings or you can just resign and do another run hope for ectos.

This is pointless... the point of farming is to make money, whereas by doing this you are losing money most of the time or just breaking even...

You won't be able to kill Graspings because you can't kill them fast enough before they Skull Crack you.

There are about 10/11 Aataxes in the chamber. They will not give you enough drops to make up for the 1k entry fee, or just break even if they each drop 100~ish gold, although most drop items worth less. Yes there are ectos but.... is it worth it? Smites give more ectos because they come in large groups and die faster.

Thanks for the reply Mickey and i live in the U.S and no i didn't mean like the ectos for 3k. What i meant is like your paying the fees for underworld for 3 trips which maybe results an ecto

Yes, I know what you mean Hey_homies. Iv'e tried direct healing as an ele and it didnt work, this looks good though. But what about nightmares?

you use deadly riposte to block the attack of the aatxe then run back to the ghostly npcs. You stand behind so the aatxes gets body blocked. Then you swich to your longbow and use vigorius spirit and start attacking the nightmare ( he will have less than 30% life since he used rend enchant on you and he took like 70% dmg already).

hi nice build, but been having some small problems with nightmares.. ur saying that u should just bodyblock the aatxe with a ghost if a nightmare spawns with him. Well there are like 4 ghosts and almost however i stand i get 1 aatxe pounding on me cause theres too much space between the ghosts this is mostly a problem when theres only 1 aatxe and 1 nightmare following.. could u say exactly where u stand? just tried the build like 3 times messed up some things but did get an ecto lol
