Increased ecto/gold drops in UW

anyone else noticed this or am i just finally getting lucky.
ive never seen drops like this and ive been doing UW since the original 55. anti farming code removed perhaps?

getting 1-2 ecto drops every run...literally every run and about the same on golds.

I did a run yesterday and got 4 freakin ectos that's 8 total (4 for me, 4 for him).

I see about 1 ecto per run. There is also the bug with enemies dropping two things.

Wasnt there a thread yesterday saying ecto drops were nerfed to nothing? o_O

All luck of the draw it seems.

Must be luck. All I'm getting is the 1k wasted to get to UW. Broken even in 5 runs. Woohoo?

Well I did a few B/P runs in the Tombs today and got 4 Ectos. Not bad!

3 runs today, no drops.

must be luck, i swear tho its crazy just got 2 golds, 2 ecto from one smite and a black dye (my 3rd ever in two years)...

Haven't been there in 8 months. Hopefully I'll get lucky down there tonight!

I did a Tombs run and got two ecto, in a row, back to back levels.

I have been getting 1 ecto per run (with E/ME). Occasionally I getting nothing, occasionally I get 2 ectos. MY best was 4 (FOUR) ecto on one run.

I've been doing runs for the past three weeks.. get about 1 ecto a run, sometimes more, some times less Gold drops are relatively low, but I blame that on overfarming the area

qtf 2 days of 3 hours farming each day. Switched between axtes and smites. total ecto count gotten: 1. NEVERhad this much bad luck!!!

back on topic, i think its pretty much luck based, last weekend i got a saphire and an ecto on 1 trip, 1 ecto on the 2, 2 gold 1 ecto on 3...

its been a while since i've been there. think im gonna do some runs tonight and see what pops out for me

every run i get about 1 ecto

Aatxes give a 4% chance on ecto drop, smites 2%. You can check wiki for the exact details. Sometimes you will get 4-5 ectos, sometimes zero. It's all luck of the draw. 4% chance.

no ectos here but for the first time ever, one of those annoying dying nightmares dropped a gold :O

I haven't gotten an ecto today. THEY MUST NOT BE DROPPING!!!


Gah. It's just numbers. Computers don't understand the law of averages. you're not going to "Actually" get one ecto for every 25 attaxes killed, or for every 50 smites killed.

Went farming 2 days ago, got 2 ectos from 1 cow and then another one from another cow. My partner also got an ecto. So, that's 4 ectos in 2 runs and we didn't even finish them. Also, when I went to forgemaster last night, I got 4 shards on my way there :O!
