Moddock Crevice Fact or Fiction

Alot of interest in this and as the original post was closed i was just wandering has any one had a collosal scimitar drop here.

I have done 20 or so runs and got nothing remotely interesting unless you want silver bullion coins.

If any one has had a colossal scimitar drop as they are wielded here please share your info.

same here.. i'm at 50+ coins my self... only got a gold rune drop after so many runs then lots of blues and purples. no colossal of any color has droped for me yet.

like i sayd colossals are only in DoA ive been doing this build month ago allmost every day and no colossal

I think the best place to farm is to take kournan keys for the chests you see, while you are farming barbarous shore. havn't tried yet I'm at work .
If some 1 is doing this, let me please know if i'm right or wrong

THEY DONT DROP IN MODDOK CREVICE!

I know for 100% that they do not drop there. Ive done a million runs and havent gotten any, and even wiki says they dont drop there. Yes, it says that corsair cuttthrouats wield them, but they dont drop them. its that simple.

It is still possible (being possible maybe yes, maybe no) that the scimitar drop there. Corsairs do drop them. I got a white one from a corsair guy in marga coast (forgot type) while i was trying to farm chiggen's shortbow.
You just don't always get it to drop after 25, 50, or 100 runs, or after opening 200 chests (that how many Kournan chest I have opened and no colossal). That's why they're considered rare.

I have opened 300+ DoA chest and no colossal. Can I say that colossal don't drop there?

As far as wiki info goes, wiki is not 100% accurate because the info comes from ppl like us anyways. Dragon scythes for example, drop from kirin in Pongmei Valley. But wiki says that they only drop in Morostav Trail and Mourning Veil Falls.

Builds to farm Moddock Crevice has been out for not too long. And I'm not saying that no one has ever farmed moddock. But 1 person farming the area to extinction and not getting any colossal is no big news. That's how rare they are and that's why most max version are valued over a million.

Vabbian scimitar white for me only ~15 runs. And Wiki is being edited by players, accept with ockwell. I think its possible to get a colossal scimitar.

If there is some one that had a drop from a collosal, please post it and tell us where you had the drop (and if possible with a screen shot), so we can try it as well. The drop is very rare, so you still have to be lucky to get it.

the chances of anyone getting a max gold colossal scimitar anywhere is about one in a several million, hence why they are worth so much. if you want a screenshot, that probably wont happen because so few people have gotten them from drops and those that do wouldnt take a screen of where they got it from. colossals, just like almost any other sword, can drop from anything that is holding it, which is why when you kill corsairs in kourna that have them, or kournan chests in the area, will drop them. as for doa, doa is doa and all high-level stuff drops there.

We don't need to see an awesome gold, a crummy white is good enough. Then you know the awesome gold is possible (however rare)

I found a gold colossal from Lahtunde Bog doing the Masters Quest there. It wasnt max though. As far as Moddock goes, I did a few runs, and it seems to me only the warriors drop swords. The bowmen seem to do nothing, so I ended up saying I dont trust the Corsairs and killing the Swordsmen instead of triggering the bowmen pops. I got a purple Tattooed but no Colossal so far.
