Killing Dooplanger for monks??

I've been wondering i have a monk who is only 1 mission away from having to kill his dooplanger. And i wanted to know how did other monks kill there dooplanger cause i just think if you keep a healing or protection build it will be very hard to kill him but can someone just give me an idea of what they used. i'll change my secondary to whatever.

Secondary mesmer, Backfire, Empathy and some other junk spells did the trick for me.

Edit: Oh and dodging the arrows when needed.

Retribution + Healing Breeze. If you take too much damage, strafe some arrows.

If a level 5 Monk can win with this, yours can too.

Don't use LA, let the doppleganger use it.

the doppleganger won't use HB unless it suffers from health degeneration. So don't bring anything that causes health degeneration.

This is for the pure monk.

Bring 4 enchantments that have a neg 1 nrg pip and dont use them he will and will have no nrg gain then mak out your divine attributes and bring remove hex or something that has no real affect(this will be your heal because of your High DF) and then bring zealots fire and some other skills that he wont use like mendailment which you use on your self it hurts him and heals you because of zealots fire and divine favor.

You guys think too much.

Healing Breeze and Banish does the trick.

Even though HB is a healing spell, the Mirror Self wont use it unless he's effected by health degen, giving you a huge edge in the fight. Just keep kiting and using banish and he'll go down easy.

to kill the doppleganger with monk primary OR secondary:

1. Equip healing breeze and NOTHING else on your bar.
2. Wand dopple to death

Lol its easy with any proffession that has a monk secondary or a monk primary. Bring Holy Wrath ,Retribution and healing breeze. Before you activate the rocks that start the cutscene cast retribution and holy wrath. You must have 12 attributes in smiting and the rest in healing. Now you are maintaining 2 enchantments and have not yet activated the healing breeze. step on 2 rocks than go a bit away from the third. cast healing breeze step on the rock and quickly skip the cutscene. than as fast as you can target you max damage wand or staff at the doppelganger. i killed it in 16 seconds and my friend said he used my method and killed in in 11 so...foolproof.

For paragon/monk, just need HB and Life Attunement, to cut down on mirror's damage. Got my level 2 survivor past there very easily

i brought necro life sac's, life atune, and hb and i wanded him to death. just make sure the life sacs dont make him degen or he will use hb.
