Found any quests or NPC lore to go with the treasure cave?

Hi all,

Has anyone found any quests or even lore tidbits regarding the treasure cave? (Sorry if this is already mentioned, I didn't get any search hits on strings I could think of.)



I was so excited to find that, and now I'm rather disappointed that there's no story tie-in for it. I'm hoping it's just a quest I've missed.

It's in Bahdok Caverns.

So that's where the henchies keep their gold.

I keep pressing ';', but I can't seem to target the 48975348756748645784877867358737878458673 amount of gold....

It's probably Corsair gold.

Treasury in Hidden City makes me WAAAAY more greedy.
Unfortunately, you cannot target gold there aswell.

Hurry! Fill your pack and run before the Gwen monster returns!!

Anyways... Anet should at least let the poor folks swim around in it for a bit. "So this is what it feels like to be grossly rich beyond my wildest dreams...oh wait... I'm still poor..." Heh.

I'm not ashamed to say I tried to pick some up, too. And sarcasm is great, don't get me wrong ...

... but has anyone found anything in the game to explain or tie-in to this??? anywhere??? It looks like such a juicy story - I wanna hear it!

@LoKi Foxfire - yeah, that occurred to me, and there are any number of other possibilities. I'm just wishing the devs put something in to go with this.

@Krejt - treasury in hidden city better than this one??? Oooooo, so much for exploration with the ranger on hold while I rush the mesmer thru to help in DoA!!! TY! Hidden city exploration was on my to-do list, but I hadn't gotten in there much yet. Excellent motivation!
