Really Annoying Shield Bug >_>

Dang that sucks but looks kinda cool at the same time. Try switching between the 2 sheilds quickly. Put them in the hot keys. I do that with a sword and sheild soemtimes so im holding a hammer with one hand, looks pretty cool lol. Ya fast switching doesnt help and I dont think it looks cool >_< I just wish they could be on the same axis. Like it seems like the paragon shields tilt at a different angel(all of them appear to) and the warrior shields tilt completely opposite.

@mammoth I know just what your talking about! The shield waves and bounces around and goes rite into your side ouch!

Even warrior shields aren't positioned correctly most of the time. The Exalted Aegis is one of the better cases, but most of the shields I've ever tried - and trust me, I've gone through a bunch - don't look right for one reason or another. any shields you've noticed the bug on?

But when you run the shields bounce all over the place which is kinda funny if you ask me xD

Yes, its been posted in the "POst your bugs here" topic in Riverside as well. The shields are off center on female monks. oh thanks, I thought this was the place to post bugs about armor and stuff like it, because I saw a similiar thread about armor bugs.

maybe a mod can move this thread?

Yes, I was really annoyed to see that after buying a Celestial Shield for my monk. Maybe they'll fix it someday... Seeing as this problem has been around since Factions came out, I have a feeling that this has been filed under on the "deal with it."

Oh, and don't bother buying an Ancient Shield for your female monks. I'm just glad I didn't pay more than 3K for one. Here's my monk proudly holding her shield inside her arm:

It looks like only shields based on the Tall Shield model (Shadow Shield, Skull Shield, etc.) are guaranteed to look correct on female monks. Unfortunately, only Tall Shields can be inscribable, are ridiculous rare/expensive, and dye horribly. I've also noticed that if the shield is held vertically on a warrior or paragon, it will be bugged on a female monk. But even that isn't guaranteed. Rounded shields will almost never be held correctly unless it's a Tyrian shield.

Gloom Shields don't look bad but they are waaaay too big on a female monk. If they shrunk it down a bit more they might look okay.

So shield wielding monks are more than a bit screwed when it comes to options. I have to hunt down white versions of the skins I want to try just to be absolutely certain I don't spend 100K+ on a shield only to have it cutting my character in half or having it float behind her.
