I've playing playing GW a lot, but I'm starting to cut down. Not cause it's so much a problem, but obviously I have things to do that take more priority. Also, if I wasn't playing GW, I may be doing something else on the internet with around the same amount of time like downloading music or wandering around web pages for little or no practical benefit.
Look at it this way, it's better to be hooked on computer gaming than be addicted to drugs. And if it's a habit, it's a much easier one to kick and take control of.

Yes you are... but.. I'd say a fair share of us on this board are
Some of us have the entire family playing, consequently, dinner convos revolve around builds, skill nerf/buffs.. weapon skins, story line... all the fun stuffs which would confuse anyone not playing gw.
Enjoy it while it lasts, eventually, you'll get bored of it.

Hm...Spirit of the Sea...ah yes I remember you in game...
You're that elementist that refuse to bring Blinding Flash to fight Shiro, and pm me bragging how you got all your other 5 character through the mission already. Nightfall is only released little over 2 weeks and you already have 5 characters finished the game...
Yea..you have no life...

yep. you're obsessed. and to those who said addiction to this game is better than drugs or alcohol, is oversimplifying the situation. of course gaming does have a lesser negative effect in comparison, but ANY and i mean ANY type of addiction is bad.
some people would say: what about addiction to books? addiction to soccer? addiction to helping the needy?
no. all types of addiction are negative, no ifs and butts. to be addicted to something is to have one topic or subject that completely engulfs your thoughts, and your subjective reason for existence.
i'm jus saying this because i think i'm addicted too, and i kno it's bad. if you logged in 1500 hours in 6 months, that amounts to 62 actual days of straight playing. (1500/24)
and if i assumed that each month is 30 days, then 34% of your 6 months has been GW. and if i apply that same percentage to a day, then you would have to play at least 8 hours a day. let me tell you, 8 hrs a day sitting at a computer, is NOT healthy....(please prove me wrong at this). that leaves little to no time for sleep
6 hours of school/day + 8 hours of GW= 14 hours.
24 hours - 14 hours = 10 hours.
10 hours of free time - a healthy 8 hours of sleep = 2 hours.
Basically, you only have 2 hours to do anything else except GW, so how could you direct a healthy life out of that? it's high imbalance.
this is speaking from a gw-fan, but a person also speaking with reason. just don't let it mess with your life, balance it up and i GUARANTEE without the addiction you will be 10x happier, look back, and (if you don't still feel obsessed) wonder how you ever played this game.
