Have gold drops decreased in NF?

I just beat NF last night...I got a grand total of 2 golds (a rune and a sword) through drops, and I opened 3 or 4 chests, all purple. I highly doubt I have any anti-farming code on me, a month or so ago I stopped chest running. However, I have noticed that my party members arent really getting any golds either, so it's definetly not just me. Is Anet trying to fix the economy or something?

I get 1 gold for 10 purple from chests...

Did you play with Heroes? They 'eat' drops jut like henchies.

My favorites are the NON max req13 purples I am getting from margonite chests. It has been like this all the way across Elona for me. Anet needs to remove the log from their @#$. We should not start out with freaking farm code in a new chapter because we were working on titles in a prior chapter.

solo farming (as..secret^^ farming djinns ;P), well, i killed about 6 of them and got 2 golds.

so nope, its not nerfed :P i honestly thought it increased - got 7 greens on the way as well.

I have also beaten most of Nightfal and most of my drops have been gold, so I do not think that they changed the drop rate but made it harder for previous farmers to get the good stuff (also I hardly ever get greens but I got one while exploring with henchies).

Gaaaah! Why are so many people posting these "Have xxx drops decreased/increased?" topics?

Why would they change the drop rate for a specific chapter? Or change the drop rate at all?

Its luck, pure and simple. You were unlucky.

I got about 7 gold runes, all with insignias, several gold weapons, some yielding 15^50 inscriptions, and many blue armors which also gave me some insignias. I got my full centurion and knight set of insigs almost entirely from dropped armors. (all before reaching the Bazaar in Vabbi)

But I agree on the chests, this purple nonsense is complete bs.

Although I can get 5 gold armors an hour if I wanted, I've found a most excellent farming location for it. But I no longer have any use for the runes, and I have all the insigs I need. Maybe I'll go on a rune/insig unlocking spree...

Ive been playing since it came out...Ive gotten 10 gold drops or so. Out of 50 chests...Id say 6 were gold. A few of the golds we 15^50...+5energy...some nice mods...but no where near what im used to...

I got a pretty sweet gold scythe on the noobie island. Sure it's not max but it has a max Vampiric mod and a max inscription on it. Hook Scythe skin, which is a pretty nice skin for scythes. I think it is a matter of luck more or less and not any nerf on Anet's part. It always seems though that there are people that blame their bad luck on some anti-farming code, which has never ben proven to exist I might add.

Around halfway through it now, 30-40 chests opened and have gotten 3 golds. I have picked up around 4 gold drops, zero greenies for me still. I am a little dissapointed that everyone has to open the chest now, just because the first person's loot is gold doesnt mean anyone else will get a gold from it.

got around 10 golds so far, almost finished nightfall. Pretty good golds even, 14^50 and 15% enchanted inscriptions, and some sup. paragon runes. and I have only opened 1 chest so far
and 1 green, in a team of 3 heroes + 4 henchies

Got a gold axe (not max) with +19% below 50 and +1 axe (20%).
Merched an other gold (ele wand, nothing special).
Had a gold armor drop in last mission, but was dead and failed mission, so that one is gone now
Not opened any chest yet.

I got 5+ golds from drops in missions going through the story with henchies and heros. Thats 5 more than I EVER had drop for me going through Chapter 1 or Factions storyline..

I also have opened ~50 Vabbi Chests, and get atleast a 1 in 3 gold chance >_> no worse than any other chest I have farmed at.

I've beaten NF yesterday, reached 73% in cartographing elona without the starting island, and started buying keys in Vabbi;
Got 1 green, and a little more than 26 golds this past week (that's what my ranger needed for her wisdom tittle)
1 really good scythe, 1 really good fire staff, 3 sup runes, and quite a few nice upgrades/insignas.

Didn't get a single gold drop from margonite chests (though i dropped one from a shadow).

I have gotten 1 gold in NF, not rushing through, while mapping, and am up to the Realm of Torment. I'd say that is more than just luck.

Also, I usually travel with a party of 6, me, 3 heroes, and 2 henchies.

Could this affect Tyria as well?

I went ettin farming for the past few days and whilst I'd normally get a full bag of rune after 2~3 runs, they don't seem to drop as often now.

Infact I was surprised to find out that I could come back from a run without getting any runes.
