Who would buy a pre-searing expansion pack?
2 pages • Page 2
I loved Presearing and I'd love a Pre expansion. Going back in time wouldn't be a problem, it's called a prequel. This is often done in all forms of fiction- movies, books etc. I bet the regular Sardelac posters could create a great plot for the expansion and link it to the current storyline with no problem.
how about this: open tyria up to explore freely with your pre characters. Keep most of it the same as it is in post, such as leaving the jungles the way they are, with lower leveled enemies. It wouldnt require that much effort to make (your basicly letting us run around in already made areas)
Just keep the levels of the creatures relatively low, and make it easily soloable, or two-man able like the rest of pre-sear is.
Mabye 20$ for that^^

Revisiting Presearing has been an idea that has surfaced many times and have always gained support. And if we look closely at the reason: Its a beatiful place to play in. Elona partly recreates the sensation with its wide open areas and the beatiful sky and scenary.
It may sound crazy but i would be willing to pay for an expansion of presearing area/concept if character slots were provided as a bonus factor as well. But it wont be so much for the title as suggested by the OP.

as was mentioned they could do a chapter for the rebuilding of Ascalon. Of course the map would be of the whole of Ascalon and its provinces including the replanting and rebuilding and reorganizng of Ascalon. It could prove to be very intresting...
ADDED: I dont want to see any of this Gwen bs though. I never liked Gwen and never will, all she wanted were your flowers and to sell them for 5 gold. Shes probably working the corner in Ascalon City and changed her name for all we know >: (

I'm revisiting Presearing for the first time since...oh the first week or so of Guild Wars existence....and its beautiful. Everything is very peaceful...but once the Charr come and s**t all over the place.....the game gets kinda boring.
If it wern't for 99% of the game being Post Searing...I'd stay in pre.

I won't pay for an expansion for PreSearing, but I'd like next campang havinfg green plains like they where there.
I'd rather pay for a full 'remake' of the Prophecies campaing.
- Making mouths move like in Nightfall.
- Making armors with insignia and/or like Canthan.
- Giving green to all the bosses.
- Changing the leveling so you get around lvl 15-20 when geting to Lions Arch, and making the basic Ascalonian and Krytan armor available there, moving the Ascended ones to the other cities...
I mean... retroactive changes.

Oh yeah, and I'd pay. I just did pre with a mesmer and had forgotten how great the visuals are there. Elona is similar in that respect; that's probably why I like it so much and disliked Factions.
