the scourge of vabbian

Hi i got some problems with this quest.

Preq:
I guess :
Finishing the game.
Rank 4 lightbringer

Attained in chantry of secrets from the adept whisperer (same town as lightbringer ranks dude).

with this quest u need to talk to 2 different people first. wich was real easy.

But then ure send in the desert right of the bone palace. to find some hidden passage to vabbian.

But when u enter this explorable area u dont get a pointer on your map.
So i cleared the whole map. killed everything. And its nowhere to be found.

I walked around for nearly 2 hours ........

Can anyone tell me where it is exactly..

I haven't gotten the quest, but Basalt Grotto's are description says it's the secret passage once used by Palawa Joko, so I guess that's what you're supposed to find. The entrances to the town are in the northeast corner of Joko's domain and the northwest corner of Vehjin Mines.

well when quest is active it only show the explorable area of Joko's domain in green even if ure in the area.

And there is no cursor pointing where to go. So i guess ill explore the north part again today when im home from work

Odd. On this quest I am getting a starburst that points to Basalt Grotto, which is due East from the Bone Palace. The objective is marked off as soon as you get near the portal. I'm not sure why the arrow isn't showing up for you.
Is there any more information you can give that could even possibly be making this happen? Another quest in the same region? Were you partied with other people?

strange im r4 lightbringer, finished game.. and no quest :S did something change?

I got this quest at rank 2 lightbringer so that ain't a preq.

About your problem, I have found some quest are bugged occasionaly, I have had two quests that are meant to have markers but they just wouldn't show. Tending to change the quest and change back made the marker come back.
