Is there a reason why my Guild Wars is going so slow? I don't know if its lag but it seems to freeze, it has frozen a couple times and I had to restart my computer...is there anyway I can fix this?
It takes me like 10 min just to walk to another spot in town...is this lag or is this my computer not being able to handle GW?

My guess at the moment is Guild Wars, since this update people have been experiencing extremely bad lag (myself included). And also a now reacuring problem of not being able to connect to the maps. Just got to hope that they do something about it soon.
Until then just turn everything in the back ground off, try and make some room on your computer and also, do virus check. You never know.

Im having going slow thing and i keep freezing in missions and stuff is this the Type of Lag Guild wars has?
The lag does make my Guild Wars slow and sometime yes, pause. But I only really get it at Towns and outposts, or in pvp.
I got this kind of lag after the last update but this is much worse, they managed to clear it off last time, hope they can do the same again.
But th other day I got the strangest lag I've had where I was in Kamadan and, after about 20 mins of constant pausing, I was able to move around freely but nobody else was moving. O_O and then npcs and shops disappeared. Annoying and also quite creepy. :P

I'm used to the seisure-inducing slide-show in crowded towns, as well as getting stuck to the ground literally every few steps, but I have it worse in explorable areas (esp. the Tomb today):
I can move for 2 seconds, trigger a skill only to have everything stop (except for the skill animation flashing) and all characters stand up from the 'I'm ready' crouch. After up to 10secs of this I appear at a different spot - either dead or in aggro of the nearest mob. I have 2secs to get away, after which I get the freeze again... Pointless.
Finally, I deinstalled and cancelled plans to buy Nightfall. Seems to me like it's better to wait till things get sorted :/

I have no idea. I gather it's quite widespread, worse for some than others.
Since those in charge have not commented on it (I'd say they have their hands full atm), it's all guess-work. We can chalk it up to the event or a botched release or the update or high activity or faulty wireing or the weather in Canada, I don't really care any more. Connection/performance problems are a recurrent theme in GW (guess it's same with other MMORPGs) and I've lost interest.
Atm I'm 1. getting a better computer, and 2. waiting till the devs/techs get their ducks in order.
Pitty, was looking forward to NF
Ah well, might as well take up Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
