doppleganger was not my mirror????

ok so with a new w/m get to my doppleganger expecting to fight myself basicly end up going against a ranger who kept using troll urgent and ranger skills,besides that i dont even have a ranger yet. how come this happen is it a glitch or a new change thats not posted yet,,,>ne1<

The doppleganger's appearacne will never change. He will always look like a cross between warrior and ranger, and will always equip a bow if you are out of melee range. However, it should have copied your skillset exactly (but with maxed attributes). If you were a warrior/monk, and he indeed used troll ungent, that is a new one on me.... take a screenshot and report it (after posting here for us all to see, of course).

It's more likely he used healing breeze. Bringing healing skills is not a good idea.

Yup, the doppleganger will have most likely better weapons and better armor than you. The attributes will be based on your skills and your primary.

Some people would go with smiting with healing breeze and life attunement (don't use it). Others will go with Axe or Sword and equip Frenzy (not using it).

I did it the hard way. I used hammer skills because I thought the axe cannot use hammer skills. Boy, was I wrong.

Anyway, I still killed it. Be a warrior, beat it to a bloody pulp. Healing Breeze used to only be used to counter health degen (so don't bring health degen). Unless this has changed, you can bring HB without it being used by the doppleganger. Don't bring mending, it'll use that.

hit for hit, the dopple is stronger, faster and better skilled than you are. the key to defeating the dopple is to know the skills, how to use them and how the dopple's attribute points are distributed.

one hint. if you put 1 attrib point into an attrib slot, the dopple get's 12 attrib points.

you already know what weapons the dopple has ... the dopple only uses those and no others. (hint did you go all this way and not even try the other warrior weapons?)

you should be able to defeat the dopple in about 10 seconds. if you select the right weapon and skills.

just bring frenzy and let him spam it. he'll be dead in 8.

i took frenzy heal sig and mighty blow he died in 6 seconds lol

i went vs him with r/n and he had a chaos axe... i still beat him.

With all my warriors I just went at him with an empty skill bar. I was able to beat him in enough time to get the bonus. It wasn't 10 seconds but it has never failed to get the bonus.

He always has an axe and a bow. The healing probably came from him using a healing skill, like healing breeze, which you most likely had on your skill bar. The asusmption is based on the fact that complaints like this haven't risen over the past 16 months.

if he has same skills though how comes if you get charm animal he has no pet? or is it the fact that he just hasnt capped one

Pet vs doppleganger = easiest win

W/Mo? your favorite weapon with atts to max it, Healing breeze & retribution - remaining atts split between. Put on Retribution and beat him to death, heal when needed.
