Another new shield!

You've probably all seen the Terror Shield by now. For the ones who haven't seen it yet, here's the link:

Now, I've found another new shield. Here it is:

this one is real i think,the terror shield is obviously fake...oh wait....

Wait a minute.....somethings not right about that second shield.......

Further going on the notion that the Terrior Sheilds are fake.

it would seem that way yes.
1) Noone has even screenshot'ed its stat window or it in the inventory. (Suggesting that it was a photoshop job on a pic of someone weilding a tower shield).
2) In the pictures released of it being weilded, the Weapon Select buttons showed it as a normal Tower Shield, or were "blacked over" in paint.. (suggesting that its a photoshop and they forgot to/didnt want to photoshop the weapon select pic of it)
3) All the people posting these pics and such of it are strangely friends, or in the same guild. Everyone else posting on its account are posting that it didnt drop for them.

On the other hand, there are people that say they've "seen atleast 10" in game :\

SO who knows...I remember the Fake Blue FDS from a few months ago. A fake that got so popular Anet decided to acutally put it in the game under the name IDS later on.

This definitly convinced me. It's a movie of that Elementalist that has the Terror Shield equiped. She's spinning around the character etc. I'm rather sure it's real.

Actually - It'd be more convincing if she WASN'T just standing there with the camera moving around.

If she was Walking, dancing, or showing us the inventory and such I'd be inclined to 100% beleive it.

But the way the movie is shown - makes me just think EVEN MORE that it was an edit job on a tower shield. This is because a 2 year old with some preschool software can take a 3-D texture of something, and edit over an element and spin the angle around a focus point..

Not saying its fake - But If they wanted that movie to be the proof that its real - They failed big time. If it had been shot in any other way I couldnt make this argument...They just shot in a way that SCREAMS edit job..

u know as i was watching the movie i kept thinking that something didnt seem right, where r all of her tabs for skills, party, mini map, etc etc?

The Terror Shield Looks Cool And Real. Its Really Hard To Photoshop A Movie

you don't "photoshop" movies, but it's realy not that hard to add rendered content to a movie, hell, look at nowadays movies, that's more added than filmed content ...

till an admin from this forum confirms this, or i get to see one ingame, i remain pretty sceptical ...

I think you'll find that the guy who did the fake blue FDS did a movie. Although I think it would be quite hard to do a photoshop movie of this shield.

I'm...undecided on its reality.

I have my reservations about it too, but unless someone decides to put their money where their mouth is and show us the shield, further discussion is unnecessary.
