Petition: 15k Gladiator Helmet

With Factions you can mix and match armours as you wish, as you feel, but that doesn't bring justice to all those who bought 15k Gladiator's (and I know you're so many) Armour and expected a helmet as they come with Platemail, Dragon and Ascalon armour. I've never heard any official word on this design "flaw"(?).



The Corinthian Helmet with plume is my favorite, even though their use ended long before the Romans became a power.

I know they come in all real and fantasized shapes, it should be spectacular though. I know you want it.

There are many more important things having to be considered, such as the metagame, Elementalist etc., but please, sign if you believe this helmet really is missing.

No answers like "+1 energy +1 tactics is for scrubs, get attribute-helmet", plx.

I've also been dissappointed about not having an actual Gladiator helmet for the set. Even though I'm now several 15k sets later in possesion, I would still like to go back and purchase one should it be designed for the game.

I love feathered helmets, and the gladiators helms are ugly, it's probably people either hide the help or use ascalon helms.

There was a picture of a person in FULL glad's armour in the Prophecies concept art book if I remember correctly. The helm looks pretty nice IMO and if it was implemented I'd purchase one asap. (Oh and it doesnt look like your Corinthian helmet much just to let you know.)

/signed yeh i was dissapointed with the helmets for 15k gladiator like a bear sort of thingy.

I'm sure ppl would rather have multiple functions on the existing skins than new skins.

i don't mean to moan but, i still do wonder why A-Net have never put any plumes onto warrior helmets, since plumes were very common in ancient/Medieval times (such as the roman/Spartan/Trojan times)

i still would like this to happen even though they already added the 15K Glads Helm

i don't mean to go off topic but: Corinthian helmets would be alot nicer that most of the current helmets (Not just because the spartans used them) but because they make the wearer look intimidating(like true warriors should look) and the plumes made them look taller than they truely were

I would love a 15k Glads helmet. All the more if it were in the Corinthian mold. That skullcap thing I hide, permanently and its disappointing not to have one specifically for the set.

There's already been a 15k Glad's helm added.

Yes it does, and impressively so. Doesnt go with the set or the concept at all. Looks exactly like someone told someone at Anet "Quick, make a helmet and add it to Glads 15k." And they did.

Still I vote for a Corinthian-style helmet somewhere then.

Make one that doesn't hurt to look at

If any of you had actually cared to look into the style of armour that the 15k Gladiator's is modeled after, you would have found that it is based on the armour of the Retiarius.

Retiarii in fact did not wear a helmet, and so there is no helmet that would accurately go with a set modelled after their armour. So really, be happy that you even got one.

Since its not pretty, we don't like it, and want it changed.

I think that since they did put something in as a helm, they should at least put some effort into making it look good.
At least for all of us who want pretty things.

You see, that's the thing a lot of people forget. Art/style is subjective. Some people have different opinions then yours and they are just as valid.
