What are Stereoscopic Images?

"A stereoscopic image is composed of a right perspective and a left perspective image. In order to see a stereoscopic image, you must be able to view both of these perspective images simultaneously. When you finally see the depth information you have FUSED the images."

Basically, crossing your eyes to make two carefully taken images fuse into one image gives the impression of depth, the image becomes "3D".

I've been messing around in guildwars and have produced a few Guildwars stereoscopic screenshots.

I cant see the images, what am I doing wrong?

Part of the problem when producing stereo images on a computer is that everyone is running their desktop at their own resolution, so the pictures may be far too small, or far too large for some people.

These images were produced with 1024 x 768 in mind, if you're having trouble viewing the images you may want to download them and resize them, or simply zoom in and out in some image software.

There are some, albeit few people who just can't view stereo images without aid. Most people just need to practice.

The bigger you are able to make the images without losing the ability to cross them, the better they'll look.

Good Luck viewing them, and rest if your eyes get tired.

Argh.. I nearly have it now. It's a great idea, I didn't know about this stereoscopic thing before-hand. Frustrating trying to get it perfect though.

Pretty nice, but it would be better if the pictures were bigger.
