Guide To Vermin Farming As A Wa/Mo

This is my first guide so don’t flame me for it not bieng perfect or even good. I haven’t seen any decent builds on how to farm vermin and ppl ask me in game wat skills I use so im making this guide. I dont care if u like it or not. This is pretty much ment for ppl looking for the easiest way to make money in Factions. Plz tell me how i did....dont tell me u hate it and it suks...just say wat parts need improvement..Im still deciding to make a guide on other farming places that i like

Items That Drop-
1) Celestial things
2) Dyes
3) Crenelated swords
4) Koi scepters
5) Vermin Hides
6) Shreaders Talons
7) Canthan Keys

Personally I have just started farming vermin. I did it on and off for a few weeks but in the last 4 days I have spent prolly 4-5 hours out of my play time doing it. In those 4 days I have made about 11k an hour average and 3 out of the 4 days I have got a black dye. I have got a few gold max dmg celestial stuff.

There are 2 different builds im going to cover. Both r for a wamo

1st Build- The Stance Build

Skills-
1) Cyclone Axe
2) Bonetti’s Defense
3) Gladiators Defense
4) Dolyak Signet
5) I Will Survive or Healing Breeze
6) Vigorous Spirit
7) Live Vicariously
8) Mending

Attribute Points-
1) Healing- 8
2) Tactics- 11(minor rune)
3) Axe Mastery- 10(minor rune)
4) Strength- 10(minor rune)

Armor-
I use a full set of 15k kurzick glads armor with a major vig and a minor tactics minor axe and minor str and a sup absorb on the chest

Weapon and Shield-
I use a Totem Axe and Victos Bulwark or a Malinon's Shield.

2nd Build- The Triple Chop Build

Skills-
1) Cyclone Axe
2) Triple Chop
3) Bonetti’s Defense
4) Dolyak Signet
5) I Will Survive or Healing Breeze
6) Vigorous Spirit
7) Live Vicariously
8) Mending

Attribute Points-
1) Healing- 8
2) Tactics- 3(minor rune)
3) Axe Mastery- 13(minor rune)
4) Strength- 11(minor rune)

Armor-

Weapon and Shield-

Route-
Go out of Senji's Corner into Xaquang Skyway. Head northwest untill u see Junior Master Jejiang. By him you will see a flight of stairs go up them and u will see the first grp of vermin. Aggro them and run west untill u see another flight of stairs that u will need to go down. A grp of vermin will b there. Kill the grp chasing u and the one near the Stairs. After there dead ur going to go north and run into 2 more grps of vermin. Kill them. After thats done u will see a bridge run across it(u will b running in the direction west) untill u aggro sum more vermin. There will b like 6-7 grps that will patrol right into u. One will b a grp with the boss who drops Shreaders Talons. After u kill all these turn and run north across a bridge to the last 3 grps. Aggro them all together and kill them. After that u will see a zone into wajjun Bazaar. Then turn and rezone back into Xaquang Skyway. And head backwards through the run.

Average stuff-
On average u will make 3.5k a run. I average anywhere form 10-15k an hour now

Nice Items-
In the last 4 days ive got 3 black dyes-they drop quite a bit
Ive got a 15^50 celestial bow
A Celestial sword that i merched on accident(dont remember mods)
A 20/20 Sunder sword hilt

You got youself a great build,im using the first one and its very easy.Something else you might wanna add to the drops list is Canthan Keys,i just got one right now.

Just a couple ideas:

On your triple chop build, get axe mastery up to 16 with a superior rune. It will decrease your killing time considerably.

As for the rounding up and killing of the vermins, it is possible to round up the first 4 groups of vermin all at once, speeding up the killing even more.

:edit: also it will be sword, either way it will be with a sword may end up wammo'ing it though.

Glads Defense
Shield Stance
Healing Sig
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Drunken Blow
Desperation Blow
Empty Slot

Start with Glads, when it ends, Shield Stance, when it ends, Glads again. Kepp Dolyak up at all times...at 15 Strength, it will last 20 seconds. Healing sing when needed. Zealous sword, any shield. Drunken and Desperation whenever available, but stagger them so that when one is half recharged, you hit the other one. You can tank an unlimited number of them.

They're real easy to farm, unfortunately the drops are purest crap. You may get gold drops, but then they're usually not max, and when you get Shredders Talons you'll find they're hard to sell even for 500 gold.
I did farm vermin quite a lot back when scales were expensive though (one vermin hide = 5 scales), but even that hardly pays now.

As an aside, I'm using a build cyclone/triple-chop build similar to the one in the first post, and FWIW it's good for farming Stone Kirin, Undergrowths, and Wardens too. And their drops are far better.

EDIT: Oh, and spiders in FoW. And four healing spells is a waste of at least two slots.

the drops may suk....but ive got 4 black dye's off them now and a perfect 20/20 sundering sword hilt...so thats pretty darn good....and 3.5 average from a 15 min run isnt great but its not the wordst u can do....this isnt ment to make u rich in 1 day..its ment for ppl who need sumthing easy to get a little quik cash..i dont suggest making this ur pure income...

this build is VERY fast if you aggro alot at the same time, and if Sliver Armor targets Shreader first, he dies in about 5 seconds ^^, so I find this better than W/Mo, but use whatever suits your style of gameplay more.

ecksor's build is the same one used to solo oni in rhea's crater or w/e that place is called where u can get ungues oni daggers

Nice build, the trip chop w/customed vamp weapon cuts them like butter. Only thing, is, after about 8-10 runs i didnt get one gold or celestial weapon. Are you sure they r still dropping them, didn't get one. :/ Other than that nice build.

i havent got one today either...idk they might have nerfed celestial drops but the damn dye drops r crazy for me..i got 2 black dyes on same run...(the run i just finished now im typing this reply)..so they can keep there celestial items if i can get black dyes like that..however a 15+50 celestial req 8 max dmg sword would b sick -_-
